Three that matter...
Natural Born Killers
2007 - 2013
Ex Warlord of this amazing clan
Recruited by Bigroror at Draynor Willows while I was wearing monk robes and a strength amulet.
Several years later, many Stickam events, seeing nudes of every member of the clan, the dramas, the beef and the wars won on the battlefield I reflect back and feel like I owe a lot to the people in this clan and I had some amazing times here.
It was a very sad day when NBK eventually closed. You grow close to the people having spent so long in one clan. Some of us remain in contact today but a lot have moved on.
Not many people remember Natural Born Killers as a wilderness force but I was privileged to be the Warlord at the time when we pulled 50 to a PKRI.
March 2015 - May 2016
Coming back to the game in March 2015 after some time out I stumbled across Synergy an RS3 warring team. This came about from an Ex-NBK member and friend Jackoe who recommended that I joined seeing as they needed members and I wanted some warring action. Formed by Devin and Scimmy from The Wilderness Guardians. Previously known as Clan America but re-invented
I was asked after a short period to be a Warlord again something that I didn't expect so soon. I got back in to the swing of things and enjoyed the RS3 scene. Eventually I was approached by Devin to become Leader when Scimmy had to step down. Myself and Devin did everything possible to ensure a smooth transition over from RuneScape 3 to Oldschool warring. It was a rocky road taking the Leader rank and making it work, losing some members because of the switchover.
However with key people in the right ranks we made a success of it and started winning big fights against the likes of Fools, VR, DF etc. We even fought Reign of Terror 50 vs 50 but just fell short by 5 or so kills in a 50 kills fight. It was almost a feeling of achievement to get that close to them though.
None of the above would have been possible without Kila, who supported the team as both Council and Leader making key decisions. Frouke who was a workaholic for the team as Council and a friendly face. DanB from DI was also a very influential figure within the team. Mohd, Michele AC, Lavigne, Dr Destiny and JackyMao carried us on the battlefield many times with their calling.
The best part about Synergy was the diversity of the team considering we had members from all of the RuneScape clans out there. The leadership and officials were neutral when it came to Synergy and we made it work.
Who knows, some day we might be back ...
May 2015 - August 2016I joined Forsaken for some PvP action at the time in May 15'....however PvP action is few and far between and is always against the same old opponents...there is more to Forsaken than PvP Warring though and that was always a major part in me staying around despite reduced activity. The people helped with that too.
Some of the nicest people in the Clan World are committed and dedicated to the clan still to this day. Making it a great place for newer members having such a solid community.
Forsaken has undoubtedly got the quality in Clan wars, something I worked on myself for many months with the other officials. I held the rank Captain and then moved on to Warlord within the clan which was a privilege. However having reduced activity due to IRL commitments I am no longer in the clan.
