My Runescape and Clanning History:
I started playing Runescape in April of 2007. One of my in real life friends recommended it and I'm glad that he did since I was able to meet so many amazing people.Slight Ko: Leader - This is the first time being in a cc team. They are EST based. I joined them in February of 2009. We started off as a 90+ cc team that recruited at the G.E. almost 24/7. I was in my 90s when I joined. We we're a fairly successful cc team that had a strong rivalry vs W3 (Leo Pker1). We were winning many fights against them and it was enjoyable. Once it was around April, our founders Dave and D3f N3wb13 were busy in real life so Sk closed. However, it reopened as Hark Omega and me shortly after. We weren't nearly as powerful but I loved every moment of it. During the summer of 2009, I decided to get 120 cb because I would perform much better and recruit more people. Eventually, Hark Omega decided to quit Sk and I was the only leader left. Not much activity happened for Slight Ko until February of 2010. We were still a cc team and 100+ but our major improvement was when we first used TS3. We got way more recruits and started pull 100opts to many events. Sonsa1 was then promoted to leader as I needed some support. During the summer of 2010, we were at our best. We won vs many clans and even a 120+ clan. However, this was short lived once some inner clan issues aroused. Some people had problems with a couple officials and decided to leave. They made a reject clan that would hit the specific members in my clan. They never hit me though <3. Eventually Slight ko closed in December. These memories will never be forgotten.
Terminal Ftw: Warlord - This is the second clan I joined. They are GMT based. I joined them in April of 2010. At the time they had just reopened and were originally the #1 cc team. When I first joined, I realized that there was a very strong rivalry between TF and PH. SK was allied with TF so I decided to join. Rangermelvin, Meyers and Pkrange517 were the leaders. Meyers was the founder of TF. During the summer we entered the Jagex Cup and won the first round, then fought Australian Army and lost. Afterward we were slowly becoming a clan. We became 105+ cb to join with a very good site and officials. I became a warlord in TF and I perform my role very well. We started to really excel in November and December in 2010. We beat some top 30 clans such as Blacknights (Bk) and THE clan (THE). After our rise, we were starting to lose members and key officials. Rangermelvin, Meyers and Ixmustafaxi. Mustafa was a very good member. Nobody else could compare to this guy. He is a great friend of mine. Sadly, Terminal Ftw has closed. We couldn't pull very well and only having one leader couldn't handle all the work. It was a good run and I'll never forget it. This means that my dreams of creating a top 30 clan are likely over. There just wasn't the same motivation in some people that I had and all of the good people are already in top clans. It was very enjoyable and I wish every member the best of luck in the future. You guys will still see me often in clanning. It's time to move on.
Tempted Killers: Member - This is the first time I joined an official clan. I joined them in May of 2010. Soulja Melee aka Nathan recruited me, Anthony and Aston. I was only a member though. Personally, it was one of the best mid sized clans out there. We did extremely well during the time I was with them. I made a lot of new friends in there and they are still with me today like Hoangboy00 and Elunia. Sadly, Tempted Killers closed in the summer of 2010. Too many high ranked officials were stepping down and one high official couldn't handle the whole clan. Long live Tempted Killers! Nathan, you were a good man and good luck in the future.
Brutal Forces: Leader - This is a team founded by Hoangboy00 and Axe Assassin in January of 2011. This is the first time I've been in a team before and it's very enjoyable. I was the leader of this team, but then we closed on November 19th, 2012. Here is my ending post on our closing topic.
I'm sad to see Brutal Forces closing after everything that we've been through. It originally started off as some friends coming together to start up a fun team, and look at how far we've come. I've been here since the beginning about 2 years ago and I'm proud to say that I was a founding official and leader for a certain amount of time here. Eventually, we improved our quality and were able to beat teams such as TKO Blitz in matched. After achieving our highest pull yet of 42 against CR, it seemed that the sky was the limit. I'll never forget our time together, through the glory days and the down times. Thank you everyone who has been apart of BF, official and member.
I wish everyone the best in the future, whether you quit RS or not due to the EoC and wherever you may go in life. Don't be a stranger and keep in touch!
~ Proud Ex-Brutal Forces Leader
The Rising: Commander - I joined The Rising in March, 2011. After my previous clan closed, I took roughly a month to look for a great clan that is honorable, respectable, has a good community and is very successful in warring. The Rising is exactly what I've been looking for and I'm thrilled to be apart of the clan. Leadership here is very mature and I feel like I had found my home. The Rising feels like family to me and is unlike any other clan in the clan world. I was promoted to trial Pk Leader in late August of 2011 and then promoted to Pk Leader around late October of 2011. Just before TR had closed it's doors on May 17, 2012, I was promoted to Commander, just one rank short of my goal of achieving warlord. Here are my ending posts on the closing topic:
It's been a pleasure being apart of TR for 1 year and 2 months, ending as a Commander. I've enjoyed RS the most being in TR and I'll never forget my time here. I've made so many friends and learned so much more about myself here. I've been taught how to become a better fall in leader, how to be a better tank and how to be a better person in general. I've met so many amazing people here. These will be some memories that will stick with me forever and ever. Thank you The Rising for finding a place in my heart. I'm forever grateful of this clan.
Onwards and upwards into real life.
I am very grateful that I joined TR just over a year ago and I believe it was the best decision ever to be made. The community, the wars, the spams...everything was perfect. There's nothing quite like this clan. Nothing compares to The Rising.
I've met so many amazing people here.I have to thank all of the people who have helped me with my struggles in the past. Without you guys, I don't know what I would do and for that I'm really thankful for that. Every single one of you are truly great and I wish you the best in the future with whatever you may do. Keep in touch friends.
Power may come and go, but greatness is forever.
Genesis: Lieutenant - I joined Genesis shortly after The Rising had closed in May of 2012. The majority of TR who decided to keep on playing the game decided to join Genesis. After humble beginnings when Gen opened in May of 2012 and became a force to be reckoned with, we were almost untouchable. I was promoted to Lieutenant and was able to call Genesis. My inactivity led to my retirement following the summer of 2012. After being in crash wars (which I highly dislike), and defeating top clans/teams such as RSD and Euphoria, I felt that Genesis was that one best upcoming clan with tons of potential. Nothing could stop us, not even the changes that Runescape went through such as EoC and 07scape. However, with the decline of Runescape and the clanworld, the inevitable would happen, leading to the closure of Genesis. Within the short life span of this clan, we were able to achieve almost every goal that clans wish they had done throughout their years of existance.
