Don't Panic vs Brutality

With nothing too do on a Wednesday night we thought it would be a good idea to mass-up and go for a spot of single PKing. We started off at East Drag's with the hopes of free loot being there, it wasn't long until we found Bit New 22 from Brutality in Mystic hybrid, he started fighting back and didn't even notice he was TBed until it was to late. Shortly after he dropped, Brutality rushed and we quickly cleared the rest of them.

Once we re-grouped and headed back up, we waited knowing Brutality massed for us. After they started to target someone else in single we rushed in and the battle began, after seeing they half TBed each other we started to clear them. After aiming for someone we noticed Bi zz le (aka  Metalic M4g3) was running back up and we got a full TB off on him at level-10.

He started tanking at level-2 and they started dropping him brews, we noticed Ieevilvamp was going to be low, after a quick TB on him he knew he was screwed and tried to bail through multi, it wasn't long until it was 2-0.

After re-grouping once again and heading back to East Drag's it was clear Brutality wasn't coming, so we geared up for Rune Rocks but it was empty.  We soon had word Brutality was at Mage Bank, so we decided to rush them. After getting on Richworth at the stairs he didn't last even 2 freezes and died instantly down the stairs, making it 3-0 to Don't Panic.

After this we let Brutality take a rest and they did, they all went back to training. We then noticed a member of Team Lobster at 35 Port's in Ahrim's, we quickly rushed in and dropped him.

And some random free cat we scouted at Mage Bank.

Overall it was a very fun 4 hours of PKing and we hope the action in single picks up more than it already is.

My Runescape Review

14 May 2013 - 09:24 AM

So I was asked by a company to write a review of a game of my choice, I clearly went for RuneScape and the up-coming RuneScape 3. This is my first ever review of a game and I think it went ok, I didn't need to go into the full details of the game since they asked for a short review, but here it is. Enjoy and any feedback is welcomed.

RuneScape Overview

Runescape has been playable to all since 2001 and over the years has grown into the most popular browser based game. The game first launched with 2D graphics and a small world size and a small number of skills for players to train. Over its life span of 12 years its undergone an almost constant two-week content update plan.

This is something that hasn’t been done by any other studio and it gives the players fresh new content to play and explore. Along side the content updates, the game has undergone huge changes since its launch. In 2004 RuneScape 2 was launched with 3D graphics, pushing the game forward in its genre, along with engine upgrades and new skills for players to train Jagex hasn’t stopped there, now they’re planning to launch RuneScape 3.

What will RuneScape 3 bring?

With RuneScape 3 currently in the BETA testing stage with both players and Jagex employees helping out with finding bugs and things that need tweaking, it won’t be long until its launch towards the end of 2013.

RuneScape 3 first major change will be the shift from Java to HTML5, this is a huge shift for the game since its been written in Java since the start, now Jagex feels its time to make that change to keep pushing forward, both in graphics and gameplay.

The graphics change is clearly noticeable, with a much richer colour tablet, shading, reflections and sky boxes. All these changes look absolutely gorgeous in the game and its clear that the team at Jagex has put their heart and soul into making this update the best they can.

But it doesn’t just stop at the graphics, Runescape’s music and sounds will be getting updated with a much more intense feeling to help players fall into that fantasy world.

Another huge change for the game will be the new custom interface, since the launch of the game there hasn’t been any way for players to customize the player interface to their liking. That’s about to change, players will be able to customize the interface to show whatever they want, move, delete and show whatever they want. If you don’t want the quest guides you’ll be able to remove it, want to change the position of your inventory? You can change that too.

With the launch coming closer and closer, Jagex are planning on two new skills for the game, one to be launched in the summer and the other towards the end of the year, both will link together, much like the other skills in the game such as Mining and Smithing.

It seems Jagex are really looking into the future for their game and they hope that the changes being made will bring new players to the game for people to enjoy and indulge in the fantasy world of RuneScape.

You can start playing RuneScape now, just head to www.RuneScape.com and sign up.

Don't Panic's Horrid Luck - Failed Lure

17 April 2013 - 06:22 PM

So we got news of a small ahrims team at Axe Hut hunting people there, so we quickly massed and went for it. Turns out the guy is level-112 with 83 Defence and max tank gear... we hit so many 0's and he made it out.

You win some, you lose some.
