I love the suggestion, but what if we use Seers Village for a location?

It may work, but there's already alot in that area (Ranging Guild, flax fields) plus it'd change around the yews and magics in that area.

agressive monsters is a good idea, but it depends on what level they are and how much damage they can do. you dont want people having to suit up with prayer pots and stuff just to get into the woodcutting guild, but just enough to keep the bots out.

overall i like the idea, but it definetly needs some fine tuning

Ive said this many times. This is a great idea, Ive started to concentrate on woodcutting again and ive come across so many people that enjoy it. Why not? it would just be a great day for all woodcutters when this happens...

Of course, you aren't the first to come up with the idea for a woodcutting guild, but I like how much more you've added on to just a tree enclosement. Let me remind you that there are no maple trees in Free to Play, although somehow you are able to burn maple logs in F2P :suspect:

I hope Jagex notices your idea, it is sure to be added!

Aggresive monsters would not be good, for this would be a skiller heaven.
And this would crash mahogany and teak prices for sure.
I hate to say it, but good idea, i want this.
By the way, i love your crank!

I really like this idea, there really arent any benefits for players with high wc levels. Would be awesome if Jagex approved

I like the idea very much, but as stated before, a little lower for the skill 70-75 i think, all in all great idea and maps.

I think if they would make the Lumber Yard more guild-like, it would actually do pretty well as a guild. Especially with the sawmill training, providing one of the best woodcutting xp/h-rates in the game. :lmao:

I kinda like this, but i'm not too huge of a fan. I would probably try it out having 99 woodcutting, but I probably wouldn't use it too often. This is an iffy thing imo. And if done wrong could be one of those minigames that very few people play.

Hey there, I loved the suggestion. So I (TRIED) , yes, in caps. can't stress tis enough. to make a suggestion for the place.

As you see, The two travel things are there to travel. There will be alot of space if it's in the water, so can be bigger! The north building is where the bank will be , and the south east building for the fletcher. There might be another bank there. For you to decide. The water inside the area is for the willow trees. I also added trees. not enough, but I hope you get the idea.

Quite frankly, I haven't gone through all the posts on this threat (there's quite a few in case you didn't notice) so this all might have been suggested previously, but I figured I'd throw in my two cents. What they could do is perhaps release a new tract of land like they did with the Hunter release that could hold the guild (like they did with Oo'glog and the Mobilizing Armies Command Post). There's also plenty of areas that could hold it right now like the area by the Monastery, the area between the Fremmenik Province and Seer's Village, the area near the Legends' guild, as well as over by the Gnome Stronghold (to the west of it - on the way to the fishing colony).

As people have already suggested, a sawmill would be cool too - but perhaps it could be designed more like the Blast Furnace and have no way to simply convert planks into logs but rather you have to do the work yourself, while getting some fletching and/or crafting experience for it.

Either way, I like the suggestion - it's an idea that's been around for a loooong time, which makes it all the more frustrating JaGeX hasn't done anything about it yet, it's just like Sailing. Posted Image

Thanks for your input, I really like this idea!! I think I'm gonna add this into the thread a bit later (and credit you, of course). Thanks again ^_^

I feel like this takes away from the whole wood cutting idea. You're meant to cut trees in the forest, not a fenced in greenhouse. I also think there are more than enough woodcutting spots.

Meant to, by whom? That idea could go against all Guilds. We already gain experience through minigames in which we do not even have to use the skills in which we gain that experience; I don't think putting some trees near each other is a problem.
