Poll and Survey Rules:

Creating a topic.

To create a topic in Polls and Surveys, you must remember that your topic will not show up immediately. It will need to be approved by a member of the GD staff before you can see it. This is to prevent insulting, immature and duplicate surveys, which will be described later in this topic. When creating a topic, write up any poll you want making before we approve it, and a poll can be added. In rare cases, GD staff may reply to poll requests via PM, but it's not guarrenteed.

Topic Format.
If your topic does not follow this format it will not be approved.

• Poll Question.
  
• Poll Choices.
  
• - Second poll question and choices if wanted.
  
• Discussion.

Note that all the poll related information will be removed from your topic before it is made visible so only the discussion remains.

Rules for creating a topic.

• Always check to make sure that your topic is not a duplicate.
  
• Always ask for a poll when you first post, inside the topic.
  
• If your topic does not show up, do not repost it. It is declined, or has not been checked.
  
• No insulting polls. 'Is Player A better than Player B?', 'What is your favourite swearword?'
  
• No immature polls. 'Should Runescape have flying pigs?' 'Runescape or Runescape?'
  
• No uneeded polls. 'What is your favourite colour?' 'Is Runescape good?'

Rules for replying to a topic.

• Choose an answer, and reply to it.
  
• Explain your answer - one word replies will be deleted.
  
• Do not insult others for giving a different answer, debate!
  
• Do not criticize the survey or be insulting to the owner.

Post count will be counted on Polls and Surveys, but 50 posts are needed to post here to prevent spam. If you experience problems with posting or other players, send a PM to a GD staff member, or report offending players.
