Suggestions Rules

When suggesting...

• Do not break the official Runescape rules.
  
• Do not suggest an idea on our Do Not Suggest List (see below) without talking to a Community Leader beforehand.
  
• If the suggestion part of your topic is no longer than five sentences, please post it in the Short Suggestions topic.
  
• All work must be original or the creator must be credited and their prior permission sought.
  
• Do not ask for support lists.
  
• All suggestions must be reasonable and feasible for the game engine.
  
• No suggestion should make the game considerably easier without improving it in some way.
  
• Suggestions do not have to be complete but should include sufficient detail for other users to leave comments.
  
• You may post your suggestions on other websites but do not refer to the other instance of it.
  
• The Community Leaders of Suggestions have the right to close a topic for any objective, unbiased reason.

When replying...
Always submit a constructive reply rather than simply offering congratulations. Comment on the suggestion: say what you liked and what could be improved, and if you award a rating out of 10 etc. make sure you give an explanation.

Do Not Suggest List
All of these ideas have been suggested before and found not to work and so we no longer allow topics based solely around them.

• Copying ideas directly from other games
  
• Turning the chat filter on and off
  
• Skipping Tutorial Island
  
• Holiday drops that can be traded between players
  
• Realistic body functions (the need to eat, drink, sleep etc.)
  
• Serious blood and gore
  
• Detailed character appearances (individual height and weights, ageing)
  
• Mining and smith black or dragon armour or crafting Abyssal Whips (they are intentional money holes for the game)
  
• Non-medieval technology
  
• Personalised items (anything unique to one player)
  
• Taming or training animals (as extensions to Summoning, these are allowed)
