Before anyone joins Nemesis, I think it is important to manage your expectations prior to you joining us. Equally I want to share our vision with you on what we hope to create.
Firstly, we want to create an environment where ultimately the direction the team takes is dictated by it's community. Our core principles will not be dropped but the route we take can always change. From our perspective, with the majority of the foundation member-base and leadership not actively clanning since pre-eoc. We are all adults now and the overall mentality of the clan should reflect just that. We're not here to control, just to offer structure and give a selection of people a place where they can enjoy the game.
Nemesis has not opened to be number one, we will not be fighting for the right to post an RSC topic or be expecting our members to be willing to do so. We just want to create a clan that is interested in becoming as good as they can be man-for-man. Who enjoy all walks of PVP; Be it Rev PKing, Luring, Small Fights, Large Fights, Capped Fights, Clan-Wars. If the members want it we may even engage in F2P. Hopefully this will create a platform for the community to enjoy playing other games together outside of Runescape.
The way we see it the clan world and overall wilderness activity is the most healthy it has been in a while. Teams or Clans seem to continue to open and hopefully that trend will continue past us. All we want to do is add to that activity and not water down the quality. This means we will not be partaking in; Ragging, Crashing, 1 Iteming, Uncapped Planned Fights or the mentality of trying to "Kill" a fellow clan. In no fashion will we be claiming to be in honour but in the same respect we won't be engaging in activities or discussions that we believe are a toxin to the clan world.
We are also hoping that we can get the clans that surround us to agree to more traditional fights and also fun fights that clans committed to in the past. Stretching from something as basic as moving away from multi-spell fights to single spells. To chin only fights in 3x3 squares.
Overall the aim just like any other clan or team is to be competitive but never straying from the core principle of having fun.
