When I was using an iOS there was a mac specific client. You should probably try looking for that unless the error gives any more specific details.

There is no official OSRS client for the Mac, so there is two ways to play it on a Mac:

  1. Play on a browser with Java support (make sure you have the latest JDK installed) <- Download the file labelled for OSX
  2. Use a third party client such as osbuddy/konduit/runeloader and download their Mac client

I'm not sure how to help you but i'm a Mac player myself. Make sure you download the right version of Java to be able to play if it doesn't work you can always try and contact Jagex Support.

Good luck!

Sadly, OSbuddy does not support yet for iOS but you solve your problem

Have you reconsider installing Parallel Windows on your Mac? because this is the only way for you to play your RuneScape OSbuddy on your mac is by having Parallel Windows.

Another option is that you have to run Bootcam Windows on your mac
