Thanks mate. Yea it looks crystallized. Technically speaking it is not snow, but rime ice. My dad explained what rime was when we went out shooting pictures. I will try to give a paraphrase of some information of Wikipedia in combination with what my dad told me. Rime is an ice deposition that occurs fast, mostly under conditions of heavily saturated air and windy conditions. It is not frost, since usually supercooled water drops are involved, in contrast to the formation of frost, in which water vapour desublimates slowly and directly .
