I've heard people say that achieving the Quest Cape is equal to achieving a 99 skill, but I've also seen people laugh at the idea that this is true. So, what are everyone's thoughts on the quest cape, on par with getting a 99, respectable but not equal, or up their with some of the bigger 99 skill accomplishments in the game?

It's definitely equal if not more than some of the easier 99s. Just the requirements to complete all the quests far exceeds the experience to reach a couple 99s. And then there's all the work and quests to do on top of it.

I've heard that before too, but that was a long time ago when the highest skill req for a quest was in the 70s. Definitely not true anymore, but maybe it was back in the day.

Wouldn't say it was equal, quests are alot quicker than maxing a 99.

Really? Maybe I'm just inept but a lot of quests took me several hours, and when you multiply that by a couple hundred it's a significant amount of time.

Absolutely, quests are time consuming, have puzzles and combat challenges and require a good account to do all of them.

I completely agree with Arceus. A quest cape takes way longer to get than some of the faster 99's, for example, fletching, cooking, fm.
But other capes like mining, rc, etc. are way harder than a quest cape.

I think I'd rather have a Quest Cape than 99 Fletching or Cooking

The time and effort you have to put into skilling / levelling & then actually completing the quests makes the cape more sentimental to others than an 'easy' 99
