If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the Price Guide and Exchange, or if you've come across obvious attempts at price manipulation or fake offers, please tell us about it.

First things first: Add your RS name to your profile. If you haven't registered, register and then do that. It helps. And it's good for you.

If there is a problem with an item (bad prices, etc.), please report the item and describe the problem:


If there is a problem with a user (fake offers, trolling, scamming, etc.), please report the user:


Using the report features will let us see the problem and help you much more quickly.

Just to be clear: You did not get banned because of other people's fake offers. If you're getting a 'banned' message, it's probably because you were posting fake offers yourself, or you were trying to manipulate prices.

I believe a lot of confusing offers come from people putting in they are buying X quantity of item and want (price*quantity) in return. But when listed it adds 'each' to the latter.

For instance:

I believe this person meant 256k in total, not each.

That is indeed a problem, but how can we address it? I'm not sure we can make it any clearer than it is, short of adding smart validation:

Well, I'm not sure what screen settings you're using but when I have the offer input box it looks like this:


The ea is on a different line then the quantity and price, which some people probably don't notice. I know I didn't for awhile.

Ah. Browser bug, should be fixed. Let me know if it isn't; I'm not sure what browser you use.

I fixed the price algorithm to range correctly... it should give better high/low/average numbers now for active items.

I've added user pages which will show all offers posted with a given RS Name, and extended the complete/delete options to guests. I also addressed performance issues that were starting to arise; everything should be much snappier now.

You shouldn't be trading unids anyway. ;P I thought they made the change to grimy already? Maybe not.

In any event, I wouldn't feel comfortable facilitating the trade of those items--too easy to get scammed.

The change from "unidentified" to "grimy" was reverted.
In any event, it's not like the DB will be of any use if it has 20 different items listed as "unidentified herb", so the grimy misnomer is probably better left as is.

I wanted to buy some .
Far less people can clean their own herbs in 07scape, so it's much easier to just buy unid's if you want to train Herblore.

The unid market was pretty big back in the day... would make sense to me to have a listing for "unidentified herb."

It's search-based, not exact match. All items with 'lobster' in the name are included.
