Glad that the Runescape Facebook page finally got their 1 million likes. Usually it takes a lot longer for pages that to reach that point.

I think it's clever, and a sign that there is some humor left in the design team. People just overreact because people like to be vocal about not liking Facebook. It helped the game, and people got something free out of it.

Dumbest item, but congrats Jagex.

It makes some sense to reward the players for being so loyal to them and giving them that kind of public recognition that they want on Facebook, or whichever site they are wanting.  I don't exactly see the importance of Facebook likes, but it means something to them obviously.

The reward is pretty funny, although I wish it stacked with other hats and things .
