I have some questions regarding EOC

WHICH IS BETTER? BATWING ARMOR OR MYSTIC ARMOR? BETTER BONUSES, HP, ETC..

I need help with troll stronghold/ horror from the deep too. since protection prayers are almost gone, how can i protect myself ( a level 50 ) against Dad ( originally level 101 ) who has a max hit of 250+? I've lost my rune since i have 40 defense and 40 in all my skills. Im level 50 right now ( i got lowered a level with the loss of prayer in combat ) Here's my New New set for troll stronghold

Proselyte Helm
Fury/ glory
Proselyte body
proselyte legs
berserker ring (i) / onyx ring (i)
skillcape (t)/ fire cape
weapon 1: ?????
weapon 2: ????? which POISONED ( P++ ) weapon should I use that is just as good as rune?
shield: ????? what should i use at 40 skills?

skills: 40 attack, 41 strength, 40 defense, 43 prayer, 41 HP, 40 magic, 40 ranged.

since protect from melee no longer works, what do i do against the originally level 171 troll general WHO CAN 2 HIT ME!?

Inventory: 10 falador teleports, extra terrorbird pouch, 300 tireless run scrolls ( at the trohelleim there is no time to rest ), 6 super prayer flasks, 1 super attack flask, 1 super strength flask, 1 super defense flask, secondary weapon, rest rocktail

Try and utilize those bind abilities that stops Dad from attacking you. It shouldn't be too tough of a boss seeing as the EoC monsters don't hit too often. Use magic or whatever Dad is weak against and maintain a good distance away from Dad while stunning or binding him at a spot. Practice using abilities to your advantage and find out a setup that works with you the best.

so you're telling me i should basically use a hit and run tactic? I know with 40 mage and fire bolt with extreme magic essence flasks I can hit as high as 150. That will speed up the fight very will with Dad ( the main boss ) and the troll general. I dont really get the new action bar though. I heard Glacors are stupidly easy with EOC released. Ive also been practicing for TzTok Jad when im dungeoneering ( because there are some monsters that attack with all three combat styles ). Im actually pretty good. I dont really get new abilities and stuff.

There's not much to get when it comes to the Action Bar. Just setup your abilities and scroll them in place on the action bar and customize your key setup. It's any other RPG that's out there these days.
