Jessy Uppal suggested someone made this thread... So I guess that means me If we were to hold a RuneScape Election, who would be nominated and who would run?  A few names that got thrown around include Dragonseance, Jessy Uppal, Myself, Evidently, as well as a few others.

If you would run for President of RuneScape, what would be your platform?  What issues do you think matter to your fellow RuneScapians?  Bots right issues?  The tax brackets by total levels?  Unfair tax loopholes abused by Flower Hosts?  Cutting the XP Deficit in half?

Once we get enough candidates to hold a proper election, I'll add in a poll.  Candidates can make election speech posts (which I'll link in OP) and we can see who will win the election as President of RuneScape

I would cut spending towards citadels since nobody uses them.
I would raise taxes on flower hosts
I would increase medical care for PKERS (rocktails, brews, pjer insurance)
I would legalize Rannar weed
I would legislate and protect the dragon population
I would end the war on bots by simply nuking them all
I would help the middle class XP gainers
I would call for the immediate arrest and exile of Yelps
I would help the clan community and assist small clans
I would ensure the eoc is rethought and re-planned using community comments and feedback
I would burn down the livid farm
I would place a tax on rare items of 1% to help remove GP from the game
I would uncensor Zybez

Hello my fellow Runescapian's, please consider me for you're leader.

I will Stop foreign Immigration by stopping the bots entering our world. They are stealing our resources from our skiller's, noobs should be gathering the items like green d'hide, not bot Scripts.  I propose by December 21st 2012 they will be gone from our game.

I will bring our troops home from fighting the trolls North of Burthope, I will do this by making peace with the trolls by letting them eat all the bots. Flower host will be included in this deal.

I will put a huge gambling tax on Yelps and drive him out of business, instead you can spin a wheel for the Lolz at Bob's axe shop.

This is just a few of the things I have planned

I would let the clan forums go wild, propiganda and entertainment central

I would make selling/buying floors illegal.
I would make it possible for people to do true solo larges.
SoF and Solomon's gtfo.
Revamp agility because it's terrible.
Remove livid farm and keep group veng.
Move valuable resources in actual wilderness.
Genie random event will be reintroduced to compensate the lack of lamps (Removal of SoF and randoms= no more nice random agility xp)
Banning people who abuse glitches.

There isn't an exp deficit, there's an exp surplus...

Kill Solomon and SoF. More bot nukes. Fix f2p to be more fun and actually worth playing.

Crack down on scammers, outlaw gambling of all kinds. Bring back tutorial island. Uncensor Zybez.

I would nuke all the bots, instead the autotypers would be teleported to places of dice hosts and flower hosts saying "We hate gambling!"...the other bots would be banned on the spot.
I will enslave Yelps and force him to single-handedly dismantle Livid Farm, after that he will be sent to Evil Bob's island!
I will introduce more things for F2P and put them back on the highscores.
I will ensure that Solomons updates can only be introduced a maximum of 5 times a year!
I will introduce anti-leeching laws for pesky leechers within Dungeoneering.
I will banish all "Selling Dung Floor's" advertisers.
I will change some of the graphics ingame such as the tassets and Void Range Helm!
I will change Agility so there are alternate ways to train it.
I will take off the Trouble Brewing requirement for Completionist Cape!
I will bring back the old Tutorial Island!
I will uncensor words such as Zybez.
I will make the Fish Mask untradeable!
All the banned Dice host's money will be taken out of the game to take down GP-Inflation, whilst their rares are re-introduced to ensure rare inflation does not occur!

I say Yay to all your Points except for the actual content updates. They should not remove SoF, maybe just remove the possibility to buy spins (only from ingame activities perhaps)

But big ups on the Dice/floor selling.
