__________________________________________________________________________

1.0 - Introduction

» This guide is being made for the people who, like I used to be, needed help on melee camping Bandits. This guide also contains armors and equipment that are pretty cheap and provide the basics to Bandit Camping, while having the more expensive/effective armor. Bandits are some of the best experience in the game and can be pretty much be trained on while doing other things, like Facebook, post here at RSC, watch videos, etc. The concept of "Camping" is staying at a spot for a long time, training all the while. This is made easy by the fact that Bandits will auto attack you forever as long as you have some sort of Saradomin/Zamorak symbol on . Auto retaliate is a must. » You will be Fighting Bandits (Level 57/74), This Generates around 50k-70k Xp per hour and with correct methods can require little attention, Bandits have nothing worth picking up and if wearing a Saradomin/Zamorak item they will ALWAYS be aggressive.

2.0 - Getting There

Where to find them: The Bandit Camp, located here:

2.1 - Route

»The easiest way to access bandits is by using the Bandit Camp lodestone and running West OR by using the Bandit Camp Teleport, Lodestones are of course preferred.

5.0 - The Spots:

Posted Image

Dark Red: Spot 1

Black: Spot 2

Purple: Spot 3

Pink: Where to train

Spot 1:
Posted Image

In this spot you are in a tent, if the tent is closed a maximum of 2 bandits can attack you, there are ladders that lead to an area with no monsters if you are to log out/take a break.

Spot 2:
Posted Image

In this spot you can have only one attack you at a time, so its good if you don't want to pray, unless bandits that spawn around the camp get to see you, but that won't happen a lot.

Spot 3:
Posted Image

In this spot you can have a maximum of 3 bandits attack you (if the curtains are closed), so its good if you want a maximum amount of bandits to attack you.

6.0 - Helpful tips
» Always Bring a bunyip to heal you
» If you are getting hit a lot you can get some noted food, sell it to the shop keeper, and buy it back.
» You can fight the level 74s in the Bar, requires higher Defense or Protection prayer.
» With The Dungeoneering necklaces and the bonecrusher, if you are killing them fast enough you can stay completely AFK for 5 minutes and they will not hit you.

Good information, but would be handy to include a Prayer Only method to Bandits, as well as a Pure Guide.

Thanks for the response but pures are being highly nerfed after the combat beta and prayer really is a waste to use at level 57 monsters.
But i'll consider both after i research more about them ;)

with the dungeoneering necklaces that boost prayer when bones are buried, and the bonecrusher, a prayer only method can make bandits completely afkable [for 5 minutes at a time]

Fairly good guide, might want to change the text at the top of the guide to the default color because I couldn't see it without highlighting and I'm on one of the darker website skins (as are many Zybez users). Also in the high level shield section you have broken html.

You might want to add some more walking routes because if somebody is new and has never been there before (as silly as it sounds) they might not have activated the lodestone or even know the dangers of getting there (i.e. thirst).

A Prayer only method, as mentioned, might be good to add. Considering what Overvoltage said about bonecrusher and DG necklaces it is highly feasible - you could even wear standard melee armor (as opposed to proselyte) if you were killing them fast enough. Reverence aura may also be a good addition to anything prayer-based, as will Proselyte.

Some exp/hr estimates would be nice so people can know what to expect.

Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing the finished product

Like Aragon said, the formatting could use an enhancement. The pre-formatted layouts work wonders!

Adding in some more detail overall would be a great addition as well. The guide seems to primarily be lists and tables, so some linking sentences and elaboration would be nice, in order to make everything flow together. The new pictures look good too, though maybe get some pictures of you fighting the bandits?

Keep it up!

I'll be finishing up the guide then, really all i did was base it on the previous guide and added newer equipment to it, I'll be adding a prayer only method as suggested as well :)

EDIT: Got everything ready, should be done tomorrow =)

Also, you don't really talk about where to stand in each tent to get the most efficient XP/H and automatically lure each bandit?

Looks better, Divine, would just work on elaborating and adding in more text and detail. :-)

Great guide, this is how I maxed my own melee stats and I highly recommend it, great job putting it all together.
