Here's another good website - http://www.scape-xp....gh-alchemy.html - I personally use this one a lot because you can change the price of nature runes and turn off members. Good luck alching! :-)

Battlestaves are generally a safe bet, although you can only buy 400(100 of ea element) per 4 hours.

I'd find it hard to alch as f2p while trying to gain a profit, seeing that there are a lot of items that only give profit as p2p.

Of course there is still a lot out there you can alch, especially mithril-rune armors, heraldic too, and weapons. Sadly this is also a problem, since you can only buy up to 100 of one kind of armor/weapon every 4 hours through, which can make things very tedious (both for those seeking profit and experience).

Addy platebodies, sq. shields, swords, and maces are currently profitable to alch as of this post.

As it stands, the best compromise between cost/xp, cost/item, and buy limit looks like Black D'Hide Bodies if you can afford a ton, followed by Rune Arrows.

I highly suggest doing super heating steel bars over alching. Its faster exp, free smith exp, and makes money. If you don't have the smithing level don't fret just do The Knight's Sword Quest, which gives 12k smith exp which is enough to go from 1-29.
