I was wondering if any of you knew where I could get pretty decent strength experience, I am looking to get 90+ strength and maybe even 99 with breaks of course.
I am
77 attack (I'd be looking for 80 as well)
85 strength
70 defence
84 hitpoints
70 prayer

I have a bit of money to sink into it, but I would prefer not too. I don't want shared experience and I don't have a Sara sword, but could get one if it would be better. I have a decent supply of food an pots etc for the moment but I'm running low on prayer ones :P
Other than that my only notable items are claws, ags, some dharoks and a corrupt dragon scimitar (got it at revs and don't really want to sell, but will for funding)

Apparently with the new update, the Dominion Tower is up close to 150k melee xp per hour. Should go check it out.

I know there are faster methods, but if you are not trying to spend allot on supplies you could always camp bandits. Just use dragon scimmy on them (+ a spec weapon to make a few kills faster) with a ton of bone to peaches tabs.

Slayer
Armoured zombies
Dharoking gorillas
Clawing Troll Invasion as I said here

Etc, but those would be the best.

I swear you've asked this question loads of times now?

But an itemized account of the American failure does not console me and it should not console anyone else. That hundreds of thousands of white people are living, in effect, no better than the "african americans" is not a fact to be regarded with complacency. The social and moral bankruptcy suggested by this fact is of the bitterest, most terrifying kind.”

I said a while ago I was thinking of dharoking gorillas, I got told "it's not 2005" -.- I presumed there must have been better ways.
Would troll stronghold be any good with only claws and piety? With like, pretty bad armour?

I've asked a couple of times, usually when circumstances change :P
For example, I couldn't DH gorillas with 45 defence :/

Also, would the tzhaar be any good xp with that ring? I wouldn't mind seeing how many items I could hoard, like a side project >.<

The ring is debatable. You could also try the Skeletal monkeys in Zooknock's tunnel under Ape Atoll. They are only good XP and worth it if you can Salve amulet (e) though.

Hehe. Wasn't meant to be aggressive, just noticed a lot of your threads springing up here on this theme. ^_^

Re. gorillas: it was referenced more for a scenery change than anything to be honest. I used to travel around the place all the time whilst maxing melee, couldn't bear getting bogged down on one NPC for too long. Seeing as you've got a set good to go, don't need prayer pots, and can presumably access them - why not for a little bit every now and again? Anyway who cares what year it is. Good exp is never going to be anything other than good exp.

As for TI - my answer still hasn't changed. It will be worth it on the side. Your stats can only have improved in the meantime. :-P But since you made no mention of that Bandos set in the OP at least spend a day or two getting a Fighter Torso, if they've been sold-off at some point recently as I suspect, or look into [melee] Void as Skulduggery suggested.

I guess I better get a new salve ammy (pkers at revs *sigh*) I will definately be giving thzaar a go though. It seems like it wouldn't be terrible xp and an uncut onyx would be something to strive towards :P

I don't know if this will help, but here's the Zybez combat guide: http://www.zybez.net...s/10066/combat/ It has some of the xp/hour rates towards the bottom on it. Alternately there is also the Runescape wikia strength training article: http://runescape.wik...rength_training which is more specific to what your trying to train.

Hope that helps you :-)

Salve Amulet (e) is the best means of training, other than crafty Dragon Claws or Dharoks. Slayer is pretty nice, too.

Don't eat? You don't recover Lifepoints that fast. I'd say 1:4 is good. You don't need to stay that low, if that's really bothering you, bring some Nitro.

If you want to dharok the skeletons, (which is seriously the best method of str training without a rapier) staying low hp isn't hard to do, the cave itself will hit damage 1-50 life points if you aren't under something, so when your hp gets too high just walk out from under your rock. also bring a dragon 2h, its special is so helpful there it's unreal.

A lot of the methods listed above are all good, especially Dominion Tower and clawing Troll Invasion. I never did Ape Atoll skeletons, so I couldn't say there. As for a weapon, you could use a Brackish Blade and Dragon Defender to avoid having to buy a SS or Dharok's if you decide to do Dominion Tower or even Slayer to train.
