Not only does the new Tzhaar ring give 10% damage bonus to Obsidian Monsters, it also gives +4 Attack and Defense bonuses to all combat styles!

The only cost of this ring is if you die you will need to re-pay the guy 2k coins. However, make sure you don't have any charges on your ring as it will be uncharged after you get it back. The uses for this ring is obvious, so I don't think I really need to explain. Have fun!

Yep, unfortunetley. With the requirements for the quest as low as they are and the rings being completely free to use and re-obtain you gotta wonder what the hell Jagex was thinking on these because once people find out about this all DK rings will become worthless (except for the Berserker ring and it's strength bonus).

Dk rings are still worth it if you have them imbune for the +8 bonuses from MA.

Yeah, it's an incredibly useful ring overall. Definitely sucks for those people who kill Dagannoth Kings frequently!

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I really hope that they change it to where is only has those bonuses on tzhaar npcs, because the fact that the ring gives almost identical bonuses to all of the best rings for such a simple quest? makes me wonder what they were thinking. Also note that it takes 50k tokkul to recharge the ring... which is quite a hefty amount seeing as one run through the fight kiln cleared my ring completely of charges, and i didnt have tokkul stocked in bank. im not sure if the charges go away on all npcs or just tokkul monsters.

50k Tokkul takes under an hour to get off of killing npcs, so really not a high price if you ask me.

My thoughts exactly, i go to DKS a lot and it kinda sucks.. I'm hoping they'll make the +4 bonuses work only on Tzhaar monsters, but i doubt it... As to whether or not it loses charges against all NPCs or just Tzhaar specifically, it does not, meaning you can essentially use it forever anywhere except on the Tzhaar/Tokhaar for free.

Liking the new ring. Comparable to a Diamond Ring (i). Though I would have never even though about the DK rings. Seems obvious, but completely skipped my mind. Nice heads up to those who don't have the rings or 300 MA Rank.

And it also provides a teleport next to a summoning obelisk and a bank. :)
