What Can We Do For You?

Nothing too fancy, just tell us three things.
1- Do you enjoy the radio? Please say more than just yes or no.
2- What can we do to make the radio better? (Contest, in-game events..etc)
3- If you could change one thing about the radio, what would it be?
Thanks for the feedback, can't wait to read them!
Love,
Pace.

Yes, at times :D lol
2- What can we do to make the radio better? (Contest, in-game events..etc)
More activity; members & DJ's. I know that's going to kinda impossible to ask since most DJ's are busy and the amount of listeners have gone down it seems. But some ideas would be to promote the radio. You can do these a few ways. Through ad4ad, events, etc.
Add something other than music. I know some DJ's do this a short bit, bring up new updates, talk about them, like a tiny podcast? I'm not sure if people like that part but I personally love it with DJ's talk on the radio. I remember when DJ thunder did a prank call and it was hilarious. Just short breaks from the music the DJ's play which at times get really predictable.. listening to the radio long enough I feel like I've heard all the songs you guys have 483892742 times ;D
Short funny comedy chips have been tried to be played before. I liked them ;D as long as they're not over 3mins.
I know that at some point you guys did a thing where there were TWO DJ's on at once, that was cool.
Having the small contests like 'listener of the week' or something was fun as well.
More communication- getting on tinychat, teamspeak, etc would be fun ;D
3- If you could change one thing about the radio, what would it be?
Straighten out who has power and who doesn't and who should and who shouldn't. I know that ya'll are using SOCK's cc so... it seems like new people who seem like the deserve it don't have it. Not saying that the people who do have rank arn't doing their jobs but at times there are annoying listeners that do need to be kicked and a rank isn't paying attention or something and just doesn't kick the person - this leads to aggravated listeners.
My suggestion is to go back to making zradio it's own cc and have more communication between the DJ's I'm not sure if you guys even do that.. like have a separate forum or meeting place but I think that if the DJ's communicated together often you'd have an amazing radio. I know you all try your best because you're constantly asking the members what you should do to make it better but just having meetings where you actually all work together.

Thanks for the ideas! We are trying to pick up some DJ activity right now obviously by bringing in a fresher bunch with more time on their hands as some of us are now back to work or in school. The problem with the prank calls is whilst they're hilarious, they're illegal, we can't do them. I agree on the repetitiveness of the music, one thing that must die on our radio is Skrillex, I have had it up to here *points at throat* with him. The double-DJ thing I'll look into it, it's certainly do-able again! Since we know it was liked I'll see if I can organize a show with someone one weekend as I now work weekdays from early until late and somehow have to fit eSports practice in.
Communication wise, there's always the Ventrilo, which barely anyone uses but most online DJs can always be found in #Zybezradio on SwiftIRC. All the ranks in Socks' friendschat are DJs or Head DJs, if they aren't doing their job be sure to get a screenshot and bring it to the attention of someone else on the team, preferably not the person who wasn't doing anything. Ramu, Lilmikee or Ile would be a good port of call.
As far as DJ communication goes, we're all able to easily talk to eachother in real-time on IRC.

2) You can make it better by maybe making more in-game competitions and events like boss killing or simple minigames.
3) I've no power to change anything right now so i'll keep my opinions to myself.

A good opinion can be very powerful, as long as you word it well.

OK here it is:
I myself am a DJ and have seen various radios on the internet, many of which have DJ's on 24/7 the 1st thing I noticed is that the AFK DJ is on too often, you guys have around 28 DJs if I don't miscount which should be enough for at least 30 mins of each per day. If the DJs were distributed all over the world rather than just in UK and USA excuse the few exceptions if they apply (since I don't know many of the DJs). What I am saying is you can strategically place at least 1 or 2 DJs per timezone therefor there is always an active DJ and not a bot, people love DJs that interact with them and do quizzes etc, look at the radio on your cars and the amount of people who ring up to small shows to win something or just to have something to do while they are in their car bored, well the same applies to a web radio and people sitting at home bored. As I said this is my opinion accept it as constructive criticism and not as rant because I don't consider myself to be better than anyone but if I see I know something that can contribute to others peoples gains I'll tell them.
Another thing which can easily be monitored by a poll is peoples favorite genres and the times they are active. This is a great tactic to use because for example lets say a lot of people who love house or techno music are on at 1 pm and a lot of people who love rock and rap are on at 6. It would be an unwise thing to put a DJ who plays mostly rock and rap at 1 and a DJ who plays mostly house and techno at 6. Once again this is just an idea accept it as constructive criticism.
Hope you read and please give me back some feedback on these 2 opinions.

Sorry for the double post but I have to reply to this separate, Netjee I am a DJ myself and what I hate the most is 2 things, when I go out to a club and I see DJs playing songs 2 or 3 times in one night and when they do bad transitions and switch genres radically. This in my opinion makes things very bad and just because people request it doesn't mean it's ok to replay the song, if I played what everyone kept asking I would play at least the same song 6 -7 times a night and how good would that be? In my opinion by the 7th time if you listened to the song every time I played it you would be like "Seriously? This song AGAIN?"
Here is an example of terrible transistions, i took out the name of the dj for obvious reasons.
1st song:

This DJ went from light pop to hard rock to a house/dance music track, this is not a rant but rather a heads up so people realize what they are doing :)
Just hope you understand my point :)
