Zybez Weekly Penguin Tours

To claim the maximum reward from this event, completion of the Cold War and Hunt for Red Raktuber quests are needed. Other quests may also be required to access all the areas that the penguins reside. See the penguin list for additional quests needed.

Information
Event: Penguin Hunting
Date: Every Wednesday (notice will be given on this topic of reschedule or cancellation) Starting January 4th.
Time: 5:00 PM EST | 10:00 PM GMT
Place: Varies from week to week. Will be stated in friends chat before tour starts. Make sure you are at the start place. We leave at 5 on the dot.
World: 60
Host: Ramu (Private will be set to 'on' but this is only so you can easily find the host. It is not a way to communicate, use the friends chat.)

Route
Route varies from week to week. Use the penguin list posted on Zybez to see where they are located.

General route that we will use is as follows:

• Non quest penguins
  
• Quest penguins + bear
  
• Wild penguins

What To Bring
Requirements: Coins for boat and carpet fare. Charged Amulet of glory, see wild policy.
Recommended: Energy potions if you have low Agility. Teleports to catch up if you get lost. Most travel will be by done via group telly or walking/running. Make sure accept aid is turned on! Food for low levels.
Varied Items: These are items that you may not need every week for specific penguins. If you are unsure if you need them then bring them all.

• Waterskins or Enchanted water tiara
  
• Ghostspeak amulet or Cramulet
  
• 25 ecto-tokens
  
• Monkey greegree

Wild Policy
Before we embark on any wild penguins, the chat will be informed to bank any valuables. Use your glory amulet and meet at the well in Edgeville. From there we will go up into the wild together.

Beware of Pkers. If you see any person persistently attacking one of our group we will anti-pk them by killing them instead of them killing us. If Ramu get's pked, stay calm and don't move. She will run back to all of you as fast as possible.


Rules: Failure to abide by these and you will be kicked from the friends chat.

• No familiars: It causes lag for those on older/slower computers. If your agility is low try energy potions instead of terror birds.
  
• No teleporting people: Group teleports are only to be done by Ramu. Other (if any) designated teleporters will be announced at beginning of tour. Never accept a teleport from a person other than Ramu, unless told otherwise.
  
• No spamming/flamming: If you are flooding the public/friends chat you will be warned then kicked. This is to insure that announcements and instructions by Ramu are not missed.

Repeat offenders will be banned from the friends chat. Appeal will only be accepted after at least two weeks of being on ignore list. If rule breaking persists after that then you will be permanently banned from this event.

Yeah I'll be there. I usually just do them alone because most of the time I forget about them until a few hours (a day if I'm lucky) before they resest.

First tour was a success. Besides getting a little lost in elf lands I'd say it went smooth. Tell your friends about the event, the ones that came seemed to like it.

I went to this first ever event and I can honestly say that its worth it. I just sat back and let Ramu do the walking and searching without the stress of finding the peng and asking people for its location.

There are 10 penguins and a bear all around RuneScape. On a tour you follow me to all the penguins so you don't have to look for them yourself.
