Pray Protect from Magic w/ Rigour prayer.
Bring either a Unicorn or a Pack Yak full of prayer potions (4).
With some food in inventory while overloading/ext ranging.

To be honest that range method is very slow, I'd suggest wearing k top/arma top with tassy or v skirt and then yak full of p pots and just pray melee/turmoil, Alot faster.
