What is the most efficient way to train dungeoneering at level 36?
I've seen some threads where people of higher level (70+) are recommended to rush F1-29/C1/Small and then switch to C6/Large.

But I have a feeling rushing the floors that I can do at this level is not the best experience.
*If necessary I can PROBABLY find a duo partner/team.


Also, what is the easiest way to get a good 2h to bind? I recently switched from f2p to p2p again and am sitting on a Tier8 rapier :/.



Stats if it matters:
99 atk - str - def - hp - mage
95 range - pray

At start of thread I was 36 dung but then I tears of guthix'd to 39.

well... it'll be hard to find willing to do lower floors, so if i were you i'd c1 rush all but your top 5 floors which you should do on c6 meds. that's how i trained when i was low dung

Okay- first of all - doing dungeoneering at your level is actually pretty inefficient and boring.

Spend all your tears/peng points/lamps if you have, on dungeoneering. Then visit all resource dungeons you can access to get the 1st-entry XP.

Ideally you wouldn't dung till around 60 dungeoneering.

If you want you can rush smalls on C6 and get about 20k exp/hr.


I've gotten most of my Dung levels from xp rewards and visiting resource dungs.

Currently now at 42 dung with all the dungeons that I can discover already found.

I will use my exp-rewards and such on Dung as well.

go to dung smith cc and ul find people making weapons so get yourself a promethium 2h.
rush all floors except last 5-10. for you, rush floors up to 5.
it is good to rush floors because you get a higher prestige which means more xp.
soloing is slow so go to w117 and find yourself a team.

yes and make sure u ONLY reset when you have done all the dungeons you can

Lamp/Tears/Penguins to 50-60. Solo C6 smalls if you just can't hold it any longer.

That is the best way to get experience... If you're level 70+.
Smart man/woman.
A duo/trio would work fine assuming they will C6 small with you.

Use the Dung_Smith friend chat. I was a captain in it for a while. Just ask if anyone can smith you a promethium 2H. If there's an annoying person ranked below captain who tells you smithers will announce run then just tell them that all the smithers do things differently.

Along with a 2H, you should bind a Celestial Surgebox, which counts as an ammo bind. It can hold 125 surge casts that will help you blast through warriors.

I am assuming there is a certain way to get this as well?  A certain floor/complexity/monster?  Possibly another CC to help me? haha.

**Edit: And dropped by Tier6+ mages.  Easiest way to find them?

The celestial surgebox is a reward from dg that you can use in Runescape, but it is also an item inside dg that is dropped by level 54 and 115 forgotten mages. It's an ammo bind that can hold 125 wind surges and is useful for maging forgotten warriors and various other monsters.

I personally prefer having laws as my ammo bind though. Forgotten warriors and similar monsters can be taken down with a melee weapon without  any problems.

Edit: Just dg normally and you are bound to find one. Possibly more common in complexity 6, 5:5 floors.

Indeed it is both a reward item and daemonheim item. The one you need is for inside the floors though. I find them on C6 5:5 floors quite common actually. In the clan I train dungeoneering with, some of the people I train with (very high levels, 115-120) actually suggest me to bind laws when rushing because they feel it is a common enough drop that I can get one back very soon.

The best thing to remember is that they only drop it if you see them wielding it. Just always check those piles.
