recently my runescape applet, both in swiftkit and firefox (tried both), freezes for no reason in the middle of playing (the picture just stays there, not a bad net); when i minimize and maximize the window, it turns white. my computer isn't bad, it's a vista ultimate with 2.5 ghz intel dual core, and nothing seems to provoke the sudden freeze. i have to restart runescape completely to get it going again. so far i haven't lost anything big to this glitch/problem except a 10k credits mobilizing army game, but i fear if i dont fix it soon something bad is gonna happen.

LMAO! This is why you don't go to eat while CS/LS massing at corp. After missing an elysian sigil split, you may never want to eat again. EVER.

It may be a DirectX problem. While at the log-in screen, try turning your Runescape graphics to Software or Open GL if you're using DirectX. If you're not, then I'm not sure what the problem may be off the top of my head.

When mine does that I usually scroll up and down, or click the corner and drag in-out the problem usually fixes it's self.

Upgrade java, fiddle the gfx settings, try not to switch tabs too much.

Try the following things :

1) Re-install your graphics drivers, and all associated software, such as DirectX

2) Re-install Java

If this doesn't fix your issues then there is a deeper problem.

Try to change the Graphics options to Safe mode and see if this problem still occurs.
