Is there any way (not flax to bowstring or wool to balls of wool) that I can make profit training crafting?

You can also profit if you collect your own supplies. (d'hides, battlestaffs, etc)

I do it because I can. I can because I want to. I want to because you said I couldn't.

No, you can't.  You would earn profit from the gathering, not from crafting.

Apparently some battlestaffs earn profit, but I don't think there's any viable training method that gets a profit.

Buying gold bars and crafting them into gold amulets or gold bracelets are about the only ways to profit without having to gather the required materials beforehand.

Yes you can. You have to watch the prices of gems and the respective rings, amulets, and rings. Once in a while you can make profit from them. I made about 5k diamond rings for profit a good 6 months ago. You just need to be patient and wait for the prices to be right.

I'm afraid you can.

Battlestaffs: If you buy the staffs, enchant the orbs, put them on the staff, and alch them, you'll profit.

D'hide: You can kill dragons.

Gold bars: Buy the bar, and craft an amulet.

Be sure to buy the lower priced battlestaves from Varrock every day. Depending on the your Varrock achievment diary you can buy anywhere from 8 to 80. I can get 64 a day since I have all but elite completed. That's 8800 crafting xp a day in air battlestaves. (I don't make my own orbs). After high alching it's also 45-50k profit depending on the prices of runes and orbs. (edit: for 64 staves. It's about 750-780 profit for each one)

From about your current level to my level I did almost entirely on this method. It adds up if you keep at it. (and it's good profit)

Gold bars are a good thing to make, with steady exp and money made. Neither are exponential, but you still profit and benefit with your skills at the same time. I'm not much of a Crafter, but never hesitate to look on RSC or Zybez. The guides have methods and tactics to get you 1 - 99.
Here's the guide: Crafting
