The Bonus XP Weekend has now started! The next time you log into the game, your bonus XP modifier will come into effect. The modifier will begin at 2.7x the usual rate of XP you would earn from standard training activities, and will decrease every 30 minutes (of in-game time) in line with the table below. Your multiplier will then remain at 1.1x until the Bonus XP Weekend finishes on Monday.

Game time (mins)XP Multiplier
Up to 30x 2.7
30-60x 2.55
60-90x 2.4
90-120x 2.25
120-150x 2.1
150-180x 2.0
180-210x 1.9
210-240x 1.8
240-270x 1.7
270-300x 1.6
300-330x 1.5
330-360x 1.45
360-390x 1.4
390-420x 1.35
420-450x 1.3
450-480x 1.25
480-510x 1.2
510-540x 1.175
540-570x 1.15
570-600x 1.125
600+x 1.1

The XP button left of the minimap will give you information on your current XP modifier and how long until it next decreases via a tooltip. To get a clearer idea of what actions will and will not be modified by the Bonus XP Weekend, and for more information in general, please read the Second Helping blog and the announcement newspost.

Enjoy!

I kind of feel cheated how Jagex have done this because I never used any XP Modifiers for when I got all Level 99 Skills Pre-Dungeoneering. I might however use this to get some Dungeoneering XP or something if I actually log in this weekend.

Hopefully that gets fixed soon. I'm not really a fan of Dungeoneering but I might aswell use the Bonus XP Weekend for it if it gets fixed.

LOL everybody had theirs put back to 2.7 because of the dung glitch! B-)

Eg: mine went from 2.4 to 2.7 and the timer was reset back to 0 (keeping my prev gained xp)

Hello there,

We have looked through the code and found a bug where the amount of XP awarded for dungeoneering overflowed one of our variables. This stopped the awarded XP from being awarded.

As you can guess, this was not part of the plan. So we have placed in a new fix that will ensure there is no overflow. This fix will cap the bonus for the very low floors. This isn't the best solution, but we felt it best to get the immediate problem sorted.

Because we cannot recover what XP might have been awarded we have taken the opportunity to rollout a onetime reset of the Bonus XP timer.

I am really sorry that this has taken place. You can rest assured that I feel terrible about this occurring.

Take care,
Mod Fnord

This is FTW! +1 to Jagex! :D
