[Cole-Blitz]

With today's update, Jagex released 3 new God Books for you to attain. Except, they suck.

Written as Stab, Slash, Crush, Magic, Range Offence
Armadyl - 4,4,4,0,6
Bandos - 6,6,6,0,0
Ancient - 4,4,4,6,0

Bandos - 6,6,6,0,0
Ancient - 4,4,4,6,0

All books have +5 Prayer and +2 Summoning Defence.

Keep in mind Saradomin Book is +8 to all defence, and Zamorak Book is +8 to all offence.

Such a disappointment, they're all pretty much useless, except maybe Bandos if you currently use Guthix? lol........

Yeah, I though Armadyl would have a large Range bonus, like +12, and Zaros would have +12 or so in mage.

you can use the books to make the monsters in gwd non aggresive

I was telling people in my clan the same thing. I also told them +12 seems reasonable but with +0 to everything else.

Only use i can see is for gwd, so the monsters won't attack you. Pretty sad.

If anyone didnt know you can get empty books for 5k from lighthouse.

I don't quite understand the disappointment.

Third age aside, the rest of the treasure trail armors and weapons are more about their aesthetics than actual practical purposes.

That said, perhaps the books aren't quite on par with the existing books, but I wouldn't have estimated a +12 range bonus for armadyl's book.

Good point. Plus u can use them for your outfit such as the purple book with the thief/cooking cape.

Armadyl would be only useful for poorer people and those doing aviansies. But if you use it, mine as well fill er up.

Only use for those books are gwd. Avanises/mages camping or getting kc are the only uses the books have. I'd rather take armadyl vambs and unholy book than zammy top and arma book though.

Yea the books were disappointing, I was expecting better stats for Armadyl and Zaros.

Im pretty sure the pages for the books would easily be in the double digits of mills each if the bonuses were worth using, and with them not having much defence bonus compared to the amount you would need to fill the books I bet the majority of the people complaining wouldnt be able to get the full books anyway or atleast want/need to use one.

There just books, and treasure trail items you shouldnt be expecting much from them stat/bonus wise, If they made the books better then current ones then they would have to or should have made the new god armors, capes, mitres, and etc all better then the current equipment in the same class(rune(t) or etc for example).
