The greatest recurring event in RuneScape is back for the sixth time. The Great Guard Invasion #6 will rock the RuneScape world this July.
Remember, you can miss your best friend's birthday, you can miss your flight, and you can miss the first step and fall down a flight of stairs, but you cannot miss the Great Guard Invasion. We'll release more information as we get closer.

This is going to be my first GGI ever and every time i think about it I get so exited that I jump out of my chair and start singing random songs ^_^

Edit: To answer Sub M's question: this is what you'll need if you want to look like a real guard :)

First go to Thessalia's clothes store in varrock. Change your appearance to this:
Trousers: plain - black
Top: Any - any color
Sleeves: regular - Navy Blue

While you're there, buy a pair of boots.
Here's the equipment:

-iron chainbody
-steel sq shield
-bronze short sword
-bronze med helmet
-regular boots

and voila, you're ready!

Okay, so everyone dresses as a guard, I get that, but I'm not really getting the map marked by different routes. Well, one route in different sections...I guess I'll stay tuned.
