I've seen the use of gatestones as a way of teleing out. Strifen117 and I found another one just now.

While doing the stomp boss, at regular intervals he becomes invulernable and you need to get the rocks and activate them to prevent him from healing. Sometimes he puts debris in the way though making this task impossible.

You can prevent this from being a problem by putting a gatestone next to the lodestones then teleporting to them if there is an obstruction. If you're soloing this only improves your chances. If you're 2 manning or more though, this guarantees that you'll always be able to activate the stones.

I'll update this thread with pictures next time i get him as a boss, it's fairly self explanatory though.

Vid does it for me :)

Very clever, though I fear the gatestone will be nerfed if people keep coming up with this many uses for it.

The only annoying time is if you see the shadow of the imminent debris right next to the lodestone. The gatestone still works, but you have to take the hit when it lands =/

the thought occurred to me, though im generally too lazy to make those stones every round as you dont know who your boss is, i might try this as he frustrates me.

another good way would be to see where the shadows are, if you see a shadow blocking the things next to stomp. stand there. it will fall on you, you take damage but the stone wont be there.

works best for solos
