Is there any disadvantage to using "shared" exp with Abby Whip?
It seems too good to be true to me - I like to train all my combat stats equally and all are mid-high 70s...so training evenly would be best, unless there is some disadvantage? Ie do I hit less/are less accurate or something?
Thanks guys :)

You still get full experience, but the total experience from hitting lets say is 60 experience would be divided equally among the 3 skills of Attack, Defense, and Strength. Giving each skill 20 experience each. Also, there are no disadvantages to using Controlled.

If you start all 3 at 70, and level attack to 71 first without shared, then you have the advantage of hitting slightly more often as you level strength and defense to 71.
The same can be said for strength and hitting higher.

Except the speed of training strength is considerably slower, which is negated by the controlled style.

It doesn't help that much. Trust me- I used controlled from 90-98.
I'd say it's a little slower, but I just can't stand using a saradomin sword or dragon scimitar, so I just did controlled.

I controlled all the way up to 94's. I know it doesn't help much, but neither does training defence with 71 71 70 compared to controlling from 70 70 70, especially with the +1 damage the whip does with controlled.
