For those who like to listen to RuneScape’s music while playing the game, you can now set up a custom playlist of up to twelve of your favourite tracks. When the playlist option is turned on, the game will play the tracks from your playlist; turned off, music will randomise as before, but your playlist between will be saved between sessions.

Adding to and removing songs from your playlist requires just one click, and you can reorder them by dragging them up and down the list. We’ve also taken the time to make ‘shuffle’ and ‘clear playlist’ buttons. As with randomised music, the only time your playlist is interrupted is when a new song is unlocked or a jingle (such as for gaining a level) is played.

Well, while most of the music in Runescape isn't great there are a few ones that are worth a listen. I'll be putting my few favourites into this.

I've stopped listening to RS music when my favorite songs on it became repetitve.

Now I can listen to awesome tunes like Legend and Saga all at once now, though I'd rather listen to ManOwaR instead. :P

this is one of the BEST updates ever made by runescape! finally, you don't need to switch to your music page every time your favourite song gets changed because you move to a different spot!

I might actually use the music feature now, I had always avoided it before because of how it played songs according to where you were in-game. Cool update!

E: Today I finally used the RS music for essentially the first time in years. I actually loved it! I think many players would benefit from trying this, because the music gives you more of a feel for the game and now you can set your favorites to play instead of repeating one song. The interface also got a shiny touch-up and looks more like it belongs where it is.
