Well I guess if something does disappear all you need to do is pick it back up or whatever and then click a different tab

Well just checked em out. I'm pretty sure it is a requirement to have them be a current assignment in order to kill them.

Can someone please post a picture of what the new slayer helm looks like??

just got desert skyworm task it is easy if you avoid them doin the 30 damage from below you

drops: lots of noted stuff grimy herbs yew logs and potatoe cactuses so far
working on pic of focus sight if i can get one.

The one in the skill guide looks the same. Could be to prevent a spoiler but I doubt it, they already showed what the staff and the two new helms look like.

Oh damn, I just got Yiazmat vibes again when I saw their names.

Then when I saw the pics of the wyrms themselves, I got bad vibes from Final Fantasy Sand Worms. Eeeh.

Then again, awesome new slayer monsters, and the Icewyrms requiring a fire cape amuses me at the noobs crying about their sucking at jad.

Confirmed. They must be an assigned task in order to kill them. Even with the slayer level you will not be able to kill them without having them assigned to you. Makes things a little annoying but at least it reduces the amount of "OMFG NEW MONSTER LETS ALL KILL/CAMP" craze.

From Knowledge Base:

Strykewyrms are smarter that they appear, and can sense a lot about any creatures in their territory through subtle vibrations in the ground. It must be that only slayers who are specifically assigned to kill strykewyrms give off a subtle, possibly more tensed vibe, which the wyrms sense, and know to protect their territory from. Casual passers-by clearly aren't as invested in killing them, so the wyrms do not consider them a large enough threat to bother with.

I Just clicked on Some Stuff and it Vanished for some seconds, made me almost poop my pants what's sup with that :thumbsup:

i wonder if the price for staff of light will go higher or stay. however, that will make slayer even more of a cashmaking skill.

About time they released a slayer monster with a higher req than 90. These items sound interesting too; particularly the staff. Back to slayer for me I think :-P
