I myself think its real.. Why? Because my name and about 6 of my friends are on the list





What to do to take care of this nerd?

Put max cash in kingdom
Lend out best item for 24 hrs
Stay logged in however u can(u n a friend flower in duel arena with full brews and just att eachother :))
Stay in clan wars or w/e :) doin that
BANK PIN if you dont have 1 by now.. your in trouble but.. hes said he can get through bank pins but jagex said he cant so >.< its a controversy

I definitely believe that this is impossible, especially the bank PINs part, this is like the whole year 2000 scare where all of the computers were supposed to crash, and he's just taking everyone's fear of the new year and something bad happening. It's just not possible, and if he was this good at hacking, why wouldn't he be using his skills for something more important than a bunch of runescape accounts?

Unfortunately, regardless of if this is real, the guy has already succeeded at getting what he wants it seems. Attention.

IDK what this is or anything, but it isn't hard at all to get a list of RS players.

I have no doubt this is a hoax. He probably did this just to get people to download that list. Which is likely to be ridden with all sorts of viruses.

Lets not give this guy more attention than he deserves. Chances are for more likely than not, that he just keylogged a crap ton of people and then tried to hype it up. If there is a security risk within RuneScape, Jagex has the responsibility of fixing it or losing a lot of members. But I for one don't want to give this guy the attention he craves so I'm going to close this, as this isn't a discussion pertaining to the community.

As said - Be safe, be smart, and you'll be fine. Chances are this is fake anyways.

PS: If you really want to be safe, you can always log in to Runescape 'round about right now and keep playing until 12 is passed.
