I will be removing the "skill goals" seeing as I will be maxed. It will be replaced through a DG log/story thing of sorts and I'll be adding an item checklist (aka: PvM Checklist) of things I need to get for bossing with friends and items I wish to obtain. This list will be a bit plain until the GFX update for armours - just so I can be lazy and not update the images if the armour was updated.
On the 18th my previous blog will be archived into one of my later posts in this thread. The thread will then get its graphical rework and things will be filled in and the ball will be rolling again. Especially since I'll have quite a bit to talk about (quests, dom tower, bossing, dg, messing around, minigames, etc.)
Hello everyone and welcome to my G&A! If you came here for updates about one of my Community Projects please click here.
I started RuneScape when I was 11 years old through a friend that showed me the Magic skill. Hard to believe it's almost been eight years! When I first started playing, the only skills I would train are Magic and Fishing. Fishing made me my money (so...so slowly...) and Magic would waste it all in a moment's glance. This continued to about 65 Magic and 50ish Fishing where I grew bored of RS because of just how difficult it was for me to make money. This is also one of the reasons Fishing is now my most hated skill. Nothing has changed about it!
I quit Runescape then for several months and came back because my cousin had started playing and was much better at making money than I was. He gave me my first set of Adamant armour for me to train my melee stats up to. During this time I started training all of my skills except Farming which wouldn't come out for a few more months. When Farming did finally come out I didn't understand how to train it - so I never bothered. At this time my melee stats were in the 50's and I had 64 Range. I once again was growing bored of Runescape... so I thought I'd make a new account.
The new account was a Mage/Range pure because I found Melee training extremely boring and still do! I got the account to 76 Magic and 86 Range and even trained most of the other skills to be better than my first account. This was also the first account that I got into questing - and accidentally leveled my melee stats. After this mistake, I decided to max the account... which didn't go so well. A few stats into the 60's and 70's and I once again grew bored of Runescape.
I quit for what I believe was 2 years (2006-->2008) and when I came back I decided I wanted a fresh start again! This is when I made Nyu. I decided to be a 10HP pure and achieved 64 Magic through Fist of Guthix in F2P. I then grew bored of the game. Gee, that was fast!
Fast forward into February of 2009 and I returned to the account. My cousin had set me a challenge of my first 99, to motivate him towards his first 99 since we were always so competitive. This challenge is what started it all...I quickly made the money to buy the maple logs to achieved 99 Firemaking. I worked on this goal for a month or two and finally achieved it! I then set my next goal for 99 Thieving. By this time I started to research the more efficient methods of training. Two weeks later, 99 Thieving was mine! During the process however I had achieved 11HP and figured... why not make this account into a Range/Mage account? After all... I loved Range/Mage. I knew at this time that I could achieved 70/70 Attack and Strength and not be Melee based - so I set this as my limits for questing. I did every single quest in the game that I could do with 65/65 Attack and Strength. This was everything except Blood Runs Deep at the time, if I remember correctly.
After my huge Questing spree my stats were all left in the 60's and 70's for the most part - except my two 99's. I started training Hunter and Agility towards 99 for the goal of a double 99 off a butterfly party. When I was 91 Hunter Kingly Imps were released and a great money making opportunity fell into my lap. I no lifed Kingly imps for 6m/hour for about 40m/day for three days. I made nearly 115m! I spent this money to bank 99 Range via Red Chins and 99 Magic through Stun Alching. At 93 or 94 Hunter and 89 Agility I called it quits on those and went and got 99 Magic then 99 Range. I then returned to Hunter and Agility, and while I was training Agility I misclicked a Spirit Impling and achieved 99 Hunter. A few days later, I achieved 99 Agility by catching a butterly.
6 99's down... 19 to go. Too bad I was bored again... I'm such an off&on player.
8 more months down the line and I return - intending to finally max. It was at this time I felt maxing was once again a reasonable goal. I went on to achieve a few more 99's such as Runecrafting, which I achieved through ZMI, and Farming, which I powerfarmed for. I achieved 99 Mining and Smithing through superheating gold in the LRC and Adamant Platebodies. I started training my melee stats through Slayer, finished off the remaining quests, and would set myself goals of a 99 now and then. I achieved 99 Woodcutting, 99 Fletching, 99 Cooking, 99 Attack, 99 Defence, 99 Herblore, 99 Summoning, 99 Hitpoints and 99 Slayer during this time.
My only goals left are 99 Strength, 99 Crafting, 99 Construction, 99 Fishing, and 120 Dungeoneering. Two of these skills are extremely close already!
This section is to detail any and all of my ongoing community events and community projects.
The Dungeoneering School
One of my current projects is the Dungeoneering School where one can learn to become a better, faster, and smarter Dungeoneer. While it may cost money - all of the profits made from my Lessons will go towards funding further community events and projects.

Over the past few days I've been chipping away at 99 Crafting through Green D'hide bodies. Today, February 18th, I finally achieved 99 and can put the needle and thread down.
Now that crafting is complete - I no longer have a "bankstanding" skill to train. I have Construction, Fishing, and Strength remaining and plan to train Strength through Dungeoneering. This leaves only Fishing and Construction left to train - and both are my lowest stats at 86. I already know how I plan to achieve 99 Construction, but Fishing is a tough one for me. It's slow, boring, uninteractive, low profits, and even the most attention grabbing methods are slow and boring.
I used to train Fishing through Fish Flingers, but ever since I started to DG more often - being on a team or in a floor would cause me to miss flings and flings in general were hard to work into my schedule so I stopped flinging. This was a large chunk of my experience as I gained roughly 160-170k experience a week for flinging. Although that only adds up to an hour and a half, it's the only fun fishing I've ever done in this game. However it's not as fun as DG'ing. During the time I study Japanese, I will be AFK barehanding Sharks for a measily amount of XP/GP an hour. I will do this until I can fish Rocktails at which time I will switch to catching those. When I am not DG'ing or studying Japanese - I will be Heavy Rod Fishing at the Barbarian's Grotto. I don't enjoy C2 Fishing too much - and it is a lot of effort for a marginal increase of XP/HR.
I will be doing penguins weekly with my friend Jake (Lachry) although we both despise penguin hunting... his 10HP pure needs to hunt penguins for the free defence experience - and I should do it for the free fishing experience. Although the JoT aura adds up to more experience than penguins each month, I'm too lazy to do it daily unless I figure out a way for it to not be such a hassle. Currently it requires 2-3 teleports to places (Varrock/Edge to train the 10 skills, then I have to go claim my XP Tome, then I have to go back to Daemonheim to DG). If anyone has suggestions for the best way to do JoT and what inventory I should have - that'd be a great thing to know. Alongside JoT and Penguins there is the monthly Troll Invasion activity which will also be going towards fishing.
"Why fishing when you still need Construction?"
Construction is an insanely fast skill to train at 780k experience an hour - and with the amounts of money I make for S/L floors the expense is not a problem for me. For these reasons alone I would rather gain experience in a slow skill like Fishing to get it over with quicker.
The blog is still under construction but between DG and Japanese studies I've yet to find any time to continue updating it. I plan to record a few DG floors to show my keying and perhaps explain a few things along the way. However I'm still lacking a mic and need to figure something out regarding that. (And sorry Mike, not giving you my address for you to buy me a mic. >_>)
February 21st
I spent the morning training fishing until Brothervoid1 got online. Then tried to spend the rest of the day DG'ing with him. :P We did 2s/2l for the day and I got absolutely no fishing training done (yay!)
While I waited for him to eat dinner I figured I'd go kill Skoll since it turns out he wasn't removed! I was just unlucky and someone had killed him recently prior when I first went to go do it.
So after 15 minutes and roughly 20 deaths, I solo'd Skoll and got my pair of boots which I probably won't even use.
Near midnight Mike gave me his C1 leech, whom payed 20m to leech his C1's. This put me closer to my goal of 99 Construction - along with Episkey's generous 15m he lent me, and me selling my entire bank for 12m, I now only need 40m to bank 99 Construction in Teak Planks. This is with the refer-a-friend's 10% off discount... so I hope to bank it and complete it within the week so I don't have to earn an extra 9-10m.
Although I dislike it, I'm becoming closer and closer to 99 Strength. I wanted it to be my last 99 but it appears I may complete it before I make the money for 99 Construction or bother finishing 99 Fishing. :( It's not super important to me that it's my last, I just think it'd be kind of cool to get "truly-max" combat along with "maxed" (lol120DG)
I went and keyed a few suicide dungeons in W77 after resetting my prestige.
I also went and gave my character a new outfit/hairstyle because I finally faced it... RuneScape just doesn't have the customability to allow my character to look as much as Nyu as I'd like to. :( You'll see screenshots of the new character in my next update!
That's all for now because I didn't take as many screenshots as I would have liked today.
The origins of Nyu are rather short. The account was created sometime Feb. 09 - I quit after achieving 60 magic splashing Bind in Fist of Guthix. I came back to Runescape roughly a week before Halloween. I pretty much no lifed every day after school to achieve 99 Firemaking, 99 Thieving, 99 Range, and 99 Magic. Along with 301 Quest Points and a decent bank, 95 Hunter and 90 Agility and many other small tasks. However with the release of Dungeoneering I grew bored of waiting for some updates that I could find interesting and enjoyable. I quit sometime before Summer Vacation '10 and made my return a few days before Christmas the same year, boredom again throwing me back into the world of Runescape.... along with the interest of free trades return.
Upon my return I decided I would finish up my double 99 goal of Hunter and Agility before anything else. A week or so of F2P mining/fishing for a few hours a day and I bought my membership about a week after the Wilderness/Free Trade Referendum.
This is where my new adventure begins....
Homeworld: 89 Main Clan Chats: Flingfish Favorite Skill: Magic, I love the untrimmed cape more than anything in this game. Least Favorite Skill: Fishing, Dungeoneering wasn't as bad as it originally was. Follower of: Armadyl. Though I sneak some Zaros now and then. Youtube Channel: NyuxSaysxNyu Favorite Music Genre: I listen to just about everything. so I lack a favorite genre. Metal, Rock, Country, Folk-Punk, R&B, Rap, J-Music, Dubstep, and just about every other genre you can name out there. Hobbies: I enjoy playing tennis, although I pretty much hate sports. I attempt to play keyboard. 私は去年の十月から日本語を勉強しています。 I have been studying Japanese since October of last year. I find the language to be rather beautiful, and I've given up on German because I can't pronounce it very well... I want to learn several other languages and figured I'd start with the most challenging. I'll get back to German someday.
October 31st
So between DG I've managed to do some slayer and camp glacors for a yak (thanks to 13 effigies) :) Huge thanks to Brothervoid for being awesome and sui keying floors for me. Avg'ing under 30 minute dungeons (and closer to 20) is awesome. ^^
Random floor the host offered me, him and his friend both have HHB's '' so jealous

Dungeoneering, Dungeoneering, more Dungeoneering, getting slightly better and slightly faster each day. Doing a bit of sui keying to try and break sub30 floors w/o using any other gates but the GGS and my gate to force me to choose good posititions for both of them. Working on those sub30 average floors...
Bought a Spirit Cape, Chaotic Staff, Bonecrusher, Herbicide, and am working on a Demon Horn Necklace before I start working on T10 Zerker/Blazer/Desperado rings. After I get all of that I think I'll take a little break from DG to go finish off 99 Slayer with my new toys.
I have done so much in the past week I don't even remember it all to be honest. I did a lot of training, rounding out stats, getting some DG goals accomplished, learning to key, camping Glacors a bit, getting some diaries done, getting my gorilla mask, making some vids, school, etc. Been one hell of a week. The one thing that is important though? 99 Prayer and Sainttt's epicly large donation(s) towards me achieving it!
Oh yeah - DG'ing with me gets you SSH's really easily. I have good luck apparently.
So after four days of hammering Adamant Platebodies, I achieved 99 Smithing. Another 99 down - 13 more to go. I feel closer to that Max Cape already.
For the following weeks I'll be switching off between camping Glacors and Slaying using the Effigy-Slayer List. The goal is to get 96 Summoning off effigies/charms and then start hoarding effigies to use on Slayer to try and get 95 or 96 --> 99 Slayer 100% off of effigies. This is also to make up for all the melee XP I get camping Glacors as much as it is to speed up Slayer.
Today I will probably go through and update my skill bars in the skill sections. I've gained quite a number of levels and even two 99's.
I have also started a new Youtube "Challenge" called Speed Randoms. My goal is to upload fast times of my favorite RS Randoms. [Maze, Pinball, Mime and a few others won't be included.]
Oh and:
Effigies Banked: 6 [Approx. 240k Summoning XP]
Charms Banked: 200 Crimson, 180 Blue [215,696 Summoning XP]
Total XP Banked: 455,696~ Summoning XP
XP Needed to 96 - Something like 3.1 million XP
Remaining XP Needed: 2.6 Million

Spoiler
I got sick of being called "Dicl" so I changed my name to lNyu. Hopefully people get the message I'd like to be called just "Nyu" on its own.
Today I wasn't feeling well so I stayed home, managed to finish up 99 Mining. Didn't have a party and just got right along with working on 99 Smithing. I'll probably finish Smithing on Sunday, perhaps even Saturday night.
I'm also working on making some more videos. I plan to remake my Glacor one with me in better armour [void/stream] and I have an idea for some videos I want to do but they rely on a certain rare occurrence.

Spoiler
Mining, mining, more mining, some mining, mine some more. After the 25th I spent some time maxing my BA rank amongst other little things and chores. On the 27th I started working on 99 Mining. (I was like 30k from 92 on the 26th so not really counting that.)
Anyways...screenshot time. Lots of them this update!
I am not a fan of melee combat, but in order to max out I'll need to max out my melee stats. I'll be training all of them via Slayer, which should get me 99 Attack, 90+ Strength, and 99 Defence. I will then train Strength to 99 while I Dungeoneer.
Hitpoints isn't really a skill you train - it's just one that happens. By the time I finish Slayer I will be 99 Hitpoints.
This skill was fine until 97 Mining at which point I wanted to call it quits. I got it with a few Penance Horn fills, superheating the gold ore in the LRC, and dropping the bars. I averaged 100k Xp/Hr without the horn and 140k Xp/Hr with the horn. A relatively slow 99, it was the last of my original 99 goals.

Agility used to be one of my most hated skills but over time I've come to enjoy it somewhat. It's easy enough to do and watch anime and it's a huge benefit to have when I'm running around all the time. The cape is ugly though and doesn't go with any oufits, however it's emote makes up for that I feel. I trained this mostly through catching butterflies with Hunter and Advanced Gnome course.
I got 91 Smithing almost entirely through Superheating Gold or Smelting Gold. I then bought Adamant Bars and made platebodies to 99, costing me roughly 25m for all XP. An easy, and decently quick skill to train. I got 99 in a Dungeon smithing a friend a Prom 2H.

Herblore is an extremely fast skill to train, it's just very costly. Cost isn't much to me when I decide I want money - as I start merching. I plan to assist as much of the XP to 99 as I can, with some experience for Overloads when I get the cash. I might buy it next bonus xp weekend.
I hate this skill with a passion. It's the only skill that I am going to despise getting 99 in if I'm not able to play Fish Flingers to 99. Fish Flingers is a D&D that I find very enjoyable and luckily it happens to be some of the best XP for fishing for the time put into the game. I'll be flinging every week until I'm 99 in every other stat - then I'll barb fish if this isn't 99 by then.
This was by far the most boring 99 I've gotten yet. I chinned underneath Ape Atoll from 84 to 99 Range for four whole days. It cost me roughly 40m, and if I had to redo this, I never would. I'm not sure if many of you have every gotten so bored that spooning your eyes out actually sounds like more fun. I'm glad I have achieved this 99 however as it has been one of my most wanted 99's for years now, with magic being my other.
99 Thieving was a challenge I set for myself back when I had 10 Hitpoints. I figured it'd be relatively fun and rather challenging. So I bought a Pharaoh's Sceptre, some Super Antipoison, and a lot of cake! I plundered 41 to 99 in roughly two weeks, with only a few days of no lifing. 99 Thieving is an extremely fast and fun 99! I just wish it was a bit more rewarding. 99 Thieving made me 6m from Pharaoh's Sceptres and Stone/Gold objects I had collected on my way. Although I managed to get 11 Hitpoints going from 94 to 95 thieving on a Master Farmer, I had a fun time thieving.
It's cooking, enough said? I was bored of Runescape for a few days but decided I may as well train an AFK skill - so I bought 99 cooking and got it within 3-4 days from 85. I just watched anime the entire time and read a few manga towards the end once I ran out of anime.
Borrowed 25m from my friend Episkey and 20m from my cousin, used all the funds I had in my bank - and bought Turmoil. I really want to max out as fast as possible, and I felt Turmoil is needed to do just that. I'm not entirely sure how I'll get 99 yet - but I'll likely camp Frost Dragons if the bots there ever die down. If not I'll find a way to buy it via TDS or some form of bossing when I'm maxed combat (excluding prayer of course).
I don't even know what to say about this skill. Going to make blue d'hide bodies to 99? Yeah. Guess that's all there is to say. This skill is fletching #2 in my opinion.
99 Firemaking was a challenge set for me by my cousin. He wasn't playing Runescape back then, as he was a retired player. Neither of us had ever gotten a 99 in our 8+ years of playing - and he told me if I got a 99 he'd feel compelled to equal me. We've always been pretty competitive players constantly going back and forward with who is the better player. He told me to get 99 Firemaking as it was "quick and easy". So I spent my bank, and with some help with some richer friends - I banked 99 Firemaking. This was roughly 98k maples and it took me nearly two weeks to accomplish this goal. It was boring to about 89, and then I guess I was brainwashed into liking it. I slaved away and finally got my 99 Firemaking. I learned that 99 Firemaking may be cheap and fast - but by no means is it easy!
99 Magic has been my goal for over 8 years of playing Runescape. It's always been my favorite skill - I could just never afford 99. Now that I've become a better player, with better ways of making money - I've finally been able to achieve this goal. I stunalched from 74 to 99 in two steps. First from 74 to 85 almost overnight - then waited about 2 months and spent 35m up front to buy 63,000~ stunalchs for 99. This took roughly 62 hours to complete and at the end - 99 Magic had only cost me 15m! I achieved 84 to 99 in just one week of no lifing. I actually enjoy clicking, so stunalching was rather fun. Especially since you can do it anywhere! I stunalched in my house, on an imp in Edgeville Bank, at the Undead Cows at the Ectofuntus - anywhere I felt like!
Firemaking has the Adze. Fletching has?
AFK'ing Ivy like everyone else. 99 won't take more than a week or two and I'm not even going to waste money on the cape.
It's a slow, fun skill. Makes a nice profit, and is highly respected for the amount of time it takes. I didn't touch this skill until after 99 Agility because I figured it'd be just that much faster. I feel I was right. I powered 56-->75 in just 4 days and have been RC'ing almost non-stop with farm runs every hour or so. I profited roughly 90m.
Killing things, killing more things, and then killing even more things. One of the slowest 99's in the game. I'll be using melee with turmoil, extremes (possibly overloads), and a cannon on every task I can cannon all the way to 99. This one is probably the hardest 99 I have remaining.
Farming is one of my favorite skills as it doesn't require much work and it brings in money. It also has one of my favorite emotes and is a great color cape. It's one of the two "AFK" 99's I plan on getting. I powered this to 80 and decided to take it slow from there while I train other skills. I spent 33m on Maple/Palm trees to train it while I worked on achieving 99 Runecrafting.
Oak Dungeon Doors once I have a good 80m or so to spend. It's a toss up between this and Herblore for the next Bonus XP Weekend. If this - I'll be making Mahog Tables. Not much to say about this skill, it's rather straight forward.
Hunter has been one of my favorite skills, and upon the release of the new implings was my biggest money maker. I've made over 100m off Kingly Imps in just three days during their early release. Catching butterflies was a great way to train this skill because it wasn't horrible click intensive and it was one of the fastest methods of training. I was planning on saving it for a double 99 with agility, but then I messed up and caught a spirit imp barehanded. My first 99 to not have a party.
With the release of Glacors, a great effigy and charm dropper, my experience shot up in this skill from a lowly 82 to a respectable 92. I plan to camp Glacors for 96 so I can use a Pack Yak while I slay and finish the last 3 levels with slayer.
I hated this minigame up until about level 80 and when I started keying. However I then found it to be rather enjoyable - so much that even though I originally quit Runescape due to this minigame being so bad; it's now one of the only reasons I'm still training and playing. I want to save this one to be one of my last skills to max out simply because it's better if I key with 99's. I may train it here and there for another Chaotic or something but not sure about that yet.
If date is blank, it occurred on the soonest noted date if you keep looking up from the bottom. This means the last item merched on that day marks the end of the day.

Xerorain
One of my best friends, he's 99 slayer and he's helped me out on various occasions. He's been friends with me since I was 10HP and helped a lot when I first started training combat normally. His 1m donation to me.
Mystic Monki
I was introduced to Monki through Zchat and chatting with Xero, he's a nice guy and I wish I got to know him a bit better.
TA I NT
I can't even begin to explain how much help Taint has been to me. He helps me quest, he helps me skill, he helped me train my stats back when I was 10HP, he helped me out financially, and he was always there for me. Although he doesn't seem to play anymore he'll always be in my heart.
Saint Raize
I've known him for nearly 3 years on Runescape now. I watched him grow up from a level 62 noob (with higher total level then, me mind you...) to what he is today, a level 137 beast. His 23m donation to me.
Jesu5 Chris7
A great friend to chat too and a funny guy, I haven't seen him around for a while but he was a big help and had ambitious goals. Hope he comes back one day to start playing again.
ScreamerOzzy
Helped me do some of my slayer tasks and a few quests back when I was 10HP. A friendly guy who loved to quest. I think he was one of the few people to talk me into doing a lot of quests.
Saintttt
I'm too lazy to right anything nice about him. Just know he's amazing and donates money to my 99 prayer fund for now.
Last but most certaintly not least...... Aria Aethera
My first friend I met when I came back in 09. She's a very special person who's very fun to chat with. I'm glad of all the Runescape players I got to meet and become friends with her. Don't know what I'd do if she wasn't there.
Thank you everyone who has supported me, and may your life be well and merry.
I've seen you in Zchat!
You are off to a great start on your thread. Keep working on it and improving it, and I'm sure we will see great things from you.
Keep up the great work, and good luck on developing your account!
:o I didn't notice the 10 hp at first. I saw the one def and was like "this is good, not many 1 def g&a" then I saw the 10 hp, and looked at your cb stats again and was dumbfounded by how long this actually wouldve taken, for me atleast ;). Well good job on 99fm, nice 10hp, not an ugly topic (some go too fancy :/), nice stats, good goals, and good luck. One of the threads I WILL be following and reading daily. :D
Grads on 80 thieving first of all, you can do it! Thieving is such an awesome looking cape. That's quite some intricate spoiler-age you've got there, just as a heads up some of the later ones don't work.
One thing you can do to improve the flow of it is you can add anchor and jupto tags. This makes it so you can link your contents section to the different headers/sections of your thread. Below I've quoted what Slip (aka Divine Howl) to explain how this works and how the code is done. The only thing you have to do is change the parentheses to brackets.

you can link content by using jumpto and anchor tabs simple replace all "()" with the correct symbols. to start and for example if you have a header saying "about me" and you want it to go to the about me section you place the following tags on the header -> (jumpto=header1)about me(/jumpto) and place the following on the section you wish the link to go to -> (anchor=header1)About me(/anchor). change the numbers after header on each one for additional links otherwise they all go to the same place.
you noob looks great! I agree, its hard to make a thread all nice and pretty. Good luck with all your goals, as you have so many =] ill add you to my thread when i get a chance, so check it out next time! We will chill and cook soon ok? then you can get your pic =]
What is the point of a 10 hp pure, just wondering.
But regardless, it's a nice account, and "bummer" about almost getting 11 hp.

I will give you a show like you have never seen before; why?
Because I can
Starting from scratch is better that having everything and losing it. Everything in my life is an advantagious gain. I appreciate what I do have and for that I have more peace and respect for things.I know my struggle is the human condition and apart from you wanting to be unique you and I are essentially no different.
