Kinda boring, but it works. I think green results in the most profit right now (green d'hide = 1,854 ea, green d-leather = 2,017 at the time of this post)

Here's the ge homepage to check the dhide/d-leather prices:
http://services.rune...rs/frontpage.ws

You'll need:
- brown apron
- lots of dhide of ur choice
- gp to pay for tanning ur hides
- a decent amount of charged skills necklaces
- dueling rings

What to do:
1. Use skill necklaces to tele to crafting guild. Make sure you have a brown apron.
2. Enter the guild, go up the stairs, and tan your hides using the tanner.
3. Tele to castle wars using dueling ring and bank.
4. Repeat

Once you do it the first time you'll realize it goes by very quickly. On the other hand, you have to be paying a lot of attention if you want to maximize profits.A pretty boring money-making method, but its good if ur desperate or wanna make money on a pure. Ive also noticed black d'hide is very hard to get ur hands on, but the rest usually buy at mid easily. Also, d-leather always sells, unless its getting merched ofc.

Is this quicker than just using the bank and tanner in Alkharid?
You wouldn't have to worry about skills necklaces or duelling rings.

How do you charge a skills necklace? Could you add that.

Wow, quite useful. Didn't know this had become such a great money making method. Don't forget to mention that the necklace can be recharged at the totem in the Legends' Guild. Thanks.

Use them in the totem in the Legend's guild. You might as well alch/sell them and buy back charged since they have the same price empty as charged.

How many hides can you do per hour, assuming that you never stop running and are consistently using skills/dueling teleports? That way, just in case hides fall we can still calculate.

very nice tip, but i don't understand how you got the value of 900k/hr.

Using those values for d'hides you gave, the profit from tanning 1 green is 163.
Therefore your aparant 900k per hour is 900,000/163=5521.47...

You would therefore have to tan 5500 or so d'hides per hour to make that profit, maybe it is possible.. but i seriously doubt it.
Thanks for the tip though.

As stated above, idk if 900k is as much as you would actually make, but it still looks better then Alkarid! Thanks for the tip bro.

It's all based upon the difference in price between the d'hides and leather...

I should've titled it "up to 900k/hr"

When i tested it, it was 900k/hr w/ a 250 gp price diff between the d'hide and leather.

Either way, the main point of this was just to show you guys the fastest, and therefore most profitable way of tanning d'hides.

Wow nice tip. I used to make my money by tanning with the one in al-karhid, but that got boring and slow. I might actually use this when im in desperate need of cashPosted Image

great tip, never even knew this was possible, though how much faster is it then the alkarid method which requires much less effort (though probably better now then it used to be with run energy update?).
2nd maxed tank - [april 21st 07]
all buyable 99's; no nonbuyables from [january 4th 2009 - january 18th 2010]

How many skill necklaces/rings/hides do you suggest you start with. Do a # of rings/necklaces per # of hides also.

Thanks for the tip.

Really good tip and is what I'm doing atm! Never thought about the method used in this topic I always ran to Al Kharid and back.

I think the merchanters have taken over the green d-leather. Mine aren't selling atm :/
