I contacted VR officials about this and got the run around as usual and a boatload of excuses.

The problem: This is the second time that I've found a VR member (the same VR member) setting up phishing sites aimed at CoR, Now I really don't care what excuse VR want to come up with, fact is Corruption as a clan have kept the rivalry IN GAME. We do not take it outside of the game despite VR having our boards hacked, hacking into our members emails, Evizu hacking into our leaders IRC account and banning everyone off our IRC and setting up phishing sites.

I'm not going to threaten VR back with action outside of the game, Corruption isn't about to stoop to that level however you can start dealing with the negative publicity created from all this hacking bullcrap because it's probably the only thing that would make you even think of stopping the stupidity.

You wouldn't kick Blazer the first time around, instead you laughed and bragged about it if you wish to do the same this time around then you're just hurting yourselves.

The proof:

The new phishing site - Http://www.corruption-clan(can't complete due to RSC filtering..). Redirects to http://clan101.freehostia(same deal), when you go to the root directory of http://clan101.freehostia.(same deal) it's quite clear it's a phishing site.

The last time Blazer did this your member wasn't bright enough to proxy while testing it, picture proof (Note last time around welfarers were also targetted so this isn't confined to just Corruption VR is hacking):

The IP's used to test the logins ^^

Accounts registered to that IP:

This time around the same Domain is used that is under the control of blazer1332, the same free hosting site is used (couldn't reuse the same account on that site as last time since I had it banned), Should be enough to show that it's the same guy doing it.

Just stop trying to hack us VR, it's getting pretty damn pathetic.

VR are a bunch of 13 year olds trying to make a name for themselves online. They won't change.

Someone has been creating phishing sites to imitate our forums as well with that same free webhosting. They take down the site fairly quickly if you email them but it is annoying to have to keep dealing with that.

Haven't done research on it myself, but it'd be a shame if it were VR lol. I've offered my help to VR regarding them getting DDOS'd, for them to do this in return would be lame.

Do us both a favor and start logging proof of it.

It's desperation, Rob. That skiddy who worked on DF/Corruption forums hasn't been able to take down EoS since we snooped around and found the exploit he has been using so he moved on to Exodus because he was worried everyone had forgotten about him. I've got some rather funny conversations that lead to him rage quitting once he realized some of us are aware of how everything works. Exodus ended up losing nothing due to Nickos being able to recover the posts he deleted through the database (no back up, mind you) and he obviously has no idea what to do with a database, even if he had one, as he immediately changed Dark Invoker's forum password, and I'm sure you know what that would mean in terms of him being able to actually crack his password.

This idiot hosting these phishing sites though, he's even worse than the skiddy previously mentioned. I guess we can be comforted in the fact that their 'hackers', if worth calling such, aren't able to do anything but pay for exploits or run shoddy phishing sites.

If what you're saying is you're going to press charges or something against individuals in VR, then you're going to need more proof than "screenshots", I can tell you that now.

Other than that, its quite pathetic from VR. Not only is it very retarded, it also shows that somebody is a bit desperate.

Nope, I really can't be assed going through all that trouble over it, I mean it's possible if it doesn't stop we coudl take that route but for now i'll just keep showing the rest of the clan world what VR are upto, not to mention Vr members themselves in case they had their heads that deep in the sand.

Looks like someone finally learnt how to make login scripts without encrypting passes to send them to a text file, probably not a database, a real tech guy right there lol.

Because I think it's hilarious you actually feel threatened by a novice for starters, and I think it's pathetic for someone with so little knowledge to actually set something like this up lol.

Irony.

Hopefully this gets resolved, people are taking this game too far into the depths of idiocy for it to recover.
