Can you die with degraded c.statius' platelegs for drop potential? Mine have maybe 5 secs left lol before they disappear. :S If not i'll just alch em.

I think so. I am unsure though.
I think that you would most likely get DP because you're losing them.
Just try it, either way you don't lose anything

No you can't I tried it with Vesta's spears and it didn't work.

i'll disagree here and say that yes you can get death heat from dying with a degraded item.

I've heard from many people that they do die with an item right before it expires and for some it has worked and others it hasn't...

tested with a vesta long (non corrupt) on my pure and it failed

I died with a vesta's spear (non corrupt) and the next drop was like 1m ish, but i don't know if that was just luck, and if it will work with corrupt items

Per my experiments, it doesn't help at all. I just alch mine lol

I remember reading somewhere that you get death potential according to how much the item is worth when it is "dropped", i.e. if you die with a Guthans Helm, you get DP according to how much a Guthans Helm 0 is worth. So things like Torso and Degraded armor/weapons that only have a "destroy" option, are worth nothing when you die with them.

The last curropt item I died with my friend didn't even get loot (and his ep didn't drop.) so I'd say no, it didn't improve my loot either.
