Not going to name the clan, but there leadership comprises mainly of e-daters, until one of NBK's member stole the girlfriend of one of the leaders. This led to a spiral for this person and his clan, which resorted to crashing wars.
So e-datings alright when its going smoothly, but if the relationship breaks down so can the clan, especially as the e-daters usually have ranks.

You almost made me take the bait... almost.
Its not really a good idea, but when it does happen the relationship and the clan need to be kept as separate as possible.

Seen it cause, drama within clans more than once. When you adress the behaviour in a topic, and you get half a clan over you, you know it does :P
Personally, I agree with the guy from Rsd, this isn't match.com, sort out your relationships in real life. Not on a MMORPG.
