[Awareness]

My question is basically if im training on a monster that is a much lower combat level than me, I would think the best setup would have to be plenty of strength type gear, but i don't know honestly.

I have full void, but i'd prefer to use something other than that.

So im open to new ideas, please be as specific as possible and don't say just one item, instead tell me the item equipment from head to toe.

Barrows gloves do not degrade.

Tassets is short for Bandos tassets they are currently ~11-12m Gp. So theyre a bit out of your price range at the moment.

Fire cape is the best cape in the game +11 to all def stats, +1 to all attack stats and +4 str i believe. Though i think im wrong on that.

You don't recharge barrow gloves, it gives a 12 strength bonus. Tassets are somewhere around 10m when I last checked. Firecape gives str bonus.

you are right on all of those stats, but it also gives +2 prayer bonus, and yes, the res of the equipment would be fine, maybe obby shield, but yeah

DFS gives +7 str i believe.  It also gives tons of def bonuses, so if you're training slayer or maybe a place that needs def thats a good alternative to rune def.

If I were you I'd go with dragon legs, and either rune plate or fighter torso along with d scim or obby maul+necklace for str and whip for att and def.
Helm of neitiznot is the best helm for about everything outside of slayer, and d boots are great too.

Why should I wear the ring of life?  And is a glory amulet better to wear than a strength amulet for training strength, defense, and attack?

Glory amulet all the way, and for ring I'd say a warrior ring with that budget.

EDIT: i forgot to include another question.  What should I wear for gloves since I have a budget of 2 mill at max?


Okay I'll definately use Glory Amulet and Warrior ring for now until my budget goes higher and expands.

I have another question though. What cape would you recommend I wear if I can't get the fire cape?

For 2 mill, here's what I'd do:

Helm: Neitz
Body: Torso/Rune Chain (Yes. I said chain. It's got a better crush defense, which about 75% of monsters use. Depends on the monster you're fighting though.)
Legs: Rune Legs

Weapon: Whip
Shield: Obby Shield/Rune Defender

Amulet: Glory
Boots: Dragon/Rune
Gloves: Combat Bracelet
Ring: Warrior/Other
Cape: Fire Cape->Skill Cape->Obby Cape->Legends Cape->Other

I can't think of any other inventory slots, I think I got them all (obviously excluding arrows :P)

Helm: Berserker Helm ≈ Warrior Helm ( Berserker for strength bonus, warrior for attack )
Body: Sacred Clay Platebody > Rune Chain ( Crush defense? )
Legs: Sacred Clay Platelegs > Rune Legs
Weapon: Dragon Scimitar > Dragon Longsword
Shield: Rune Berserker Shield ( Charged ) ≈ Rune Defender ( Shield for defense bonus, defender for attack )
Amulet: Strength
Boots: Rune > Climbing
Gloves: Regen > Combat Bracelet > Spiked Vambraces
Ring: Warrior / Wealth ( Better Drops ) / Ring of Life ( Prevent item loss )
Cape: Legends Cape / Any other cape

That's a pretty basic list, all the items are pretty cheap, could use the leftover cash to buy somethin', there's better equipment but this is all affordable and easy enough to get, plenty less than 2 mil, around 660k if you bought the higher priced items on the list

Cape: God cape (i.e. zammy)
Shield: Obby unless you are using prayer or fighting lower level, then use r defender
Gloves: regen brace or rune gloves+
