So I was wondering... How much would 99 smithing cost me and what should I make? If anybody knows a good way, reply and please mention the cost and exp/hour too.

I know the cannon ball way so don't say that please. Thank you.

I'm planning on getting 99 smithing by:

Superheating mith ore to 88
This is 50k mage and 30k smith xp per hour and you break even or make a little cash depending on what prices you buy for.

Addy plates with sc hammers for 88-99
I'm not sure how long the hammers will take to get but it should average out to at least 120k xp per hour including the time to get the hammers.
This part will cost 3.5 gp per xp so about 31m

At 85 or higher smithing you can buy runite ore and coal make bars then sell back and actually make a profit. You would need at least 15 mil for a start point.

One hammer lasts for 515 bars. You get 67.5 xp normally per bar but 135 xp per bar with the hammer.
13.1-4.25m xp for 99 so..
(8850k/(135*515)) = 128 hammers

If you have a good stealing creation skilling team you can get 1 hammer roughly every 12 minutes. That's about 26 hours of stealing creations minimum.. about 28 or 29 hours is probably reasonable.

There are basically 3 different ways:
1. Smithing gold bars with Goldsmith Gauntlets from the Family Crest quest. This is the most expensive method and the fastest without spending time gathering sacred clay hammers.

2. Platebodies, smith the highest platebody you can, the fastest methrod with sacred clay hammers, it's very expensive.

3. Camping blast furnace, very fast with SC hammrs, and you make profits, only need half the coal, you basically smith mithril bolts all the way to 99. If you don't have SC hammers, its a bit slower, but still fastest without loosing money.

If you ask me why I know this without 99 smithing is because I'm always doing research on smithing techniques, but I don't really have the money to use the fastest, and even if I had, I wouldnt stand the time.
