Swaps had "vote me for best personality in rsc awards... [link here]" in his IRC quit message, vent name, MSN name and RSC sig. It's precisely reasons like that why the awards lost their credibility. They weren't been taken in the spirit that they once were unfortunately.

And yet there is nothing in place to take it's place, yes there is PKVOTM award but thats for videos, some people don't like vidding/can't and post Gallerys instead, there should be something there for these people in the community to.

Just looking around on a topic and seeing most the reply's good vid man 5/5 or 4/5.

Yet it's rated at 3 stars? C'mon.

Let people vote only if they have posted. Cause it's pritty redicilous the people that obvously haven't posted are rating it bad.

The ratings are a fairly cosmetic thing anyway. Some people prefer lurking as opposed to actually posting. They could watch the video and simply rate it. Obviously it would benefit everyone more if EVERYONE who watches a video posts some feedback about it, but that just doesn't happen.

And in the rare cases (and I mean they are rare) that there is some malicious intent with users purposefully spamming the topic with bad ratings to give it a bad image- action is taken.

Though admittedly it is hard to catch people manipulating the rating system as such.

..and yeah Liger, I'm here anyway, keep the concerns/suggestions coming.

So i was thinking, maybe it would be a good idea to put a "my KO is better then yours" sticky, something like there is "My bank is better then yours". So people could post what KO combos they got and stuff

make a subforum in the "pk vids" section called "old pk vids of the month" or somthing like that please

where all the 5 best vids of every month are posted in its own topic.

this way if people are inactive for a bit, or just wants to watch some good old vids they could just go in there and click on the month they want and watch the video.
