Hey all. Did a ton of dungeoneering this weekend. Had an amazing team for three floors in a row, before this weekend I never had teams stay on for more than one dungeon. I hit 95 earlier today, I have 3 chaotic items now, a rapier, longsword and crossbow. Let me know if you think there's any other chaotics worth getting. I'm hoping to get 99 next weekend, see you all there, thanks.

I haven't been doing anything but dungeoneering when I've been online. For the time I've been on it has gone pretty quickly. I reached level 90 just before.
90 Dungeoneering
16th May
Last Thursday I finally got hold of a shadow silk hood. It wasn't even my drop either, another guy in my group got it and I was first to put my hand up :D I also reached 81 dungeoneering. Over the weekend I didn't do any at all, I was at my Dad's place where the internet is very unreliable, and always drops out. Today I finished off my list with a floor 41 dungeon, and then rushed floors 1-35 in about 1.5 hours or so. I managed to knock off another large dungeon after this, which got me to 82 dungeoneering. Half way through this dungeon my power dropped out, but I managed to get back in time, and the other people hadn't raided my stuff either :P In my older blogs back when I was getting to 70 dungeoneering I mentioned that I hated it because I was always stuck with nub groups, well over the last couple of days it hasn't been too bad. I wont say I am enjoying it as much as I could just yet, but I can say that when I reach higher xp rates and move away from world 117, I know I will definitely like it more and more.
11th May
This is the first time I have done two consecutive blog entries in a long time, so enjoy:
Today I completed my three dungeons, however it was horrible. Those nub teams I mentioned a few posts ago were in full action today. My first team wasn't too bad, but towards the end the keyer made a few mistakes, like leaving the group gatestone in totally random/dangerous locations. After we finished I regretfully teamed up with that same keyer again, and this time the gatestone was always in stupid locations, very annoying. On my final dungeon the leader left within the first 3 minutes, so we just did the entire thing with 5 people. At about half way through somebody pointed out that it was a lot easier than your average 5:5... turns out that idiot leader had entered us into a 5:3 match, so I missed out on what would have been 81 dungeoneering tonight, and I am still 80... Sorry if you don't like rants :P I have learned from these mistakes, and I hereby declare today the start of epic dungeoneering, I hope.
10th May
I have managed to fit in 3 dungeons a night since I got 99 summoning. That is roughly 150k a night, which I am pretty pleased with. I think I will go to 120, I will keep this thread updated on my progress throughout the journey. Just before I reached 80. My 3rd dungeon for tonight had my just 5k from 80, so I used my penguin points to get there. I don't have any chaotic weapons yet, I calculated it to be about level 85 before I can buy my first, because of all the other stuff I have bought, but the other stuff was worth it, so I am not complaining :)

When I got 99 agility I was only 850k away from 99 summoning, although I only had enough charms for about 200k experience. I could not wait, so I broke open some funds and went barraging rock lobsters. The 3x charm modifier was a huge help for the beginning. I got the charms required in just two trips, and then used them all in under an hour for 99 summoning :D Now it is time for dungeoneering, just give me a few days to get bored of this epic steel titan hehe :P
99 Summoning
5th May
I haven't been playing much at all recently. When I have been online I have been either farming, assisting effigies or training agility at the advanced Barbarian course. It took a while, but I hit 99 agility today. I am 98 summoning, which will be next, I will probably go to rock lobsters for the remaining 1200 charms or so. Then only dungeoneering will remain, and I always get stuck with nub groups :P

Namechange! Yes, the day I signed up I tried to get dTwizy without the numbers but it was taken. Just recently it became available and I nabbed it!
I've been slaying since I finished Uni. I got 97 just before. I've been cannoning and turmoiling to speed things up. Tasks such as hellhounds are super quick when you can use a titan, cannon, extremes, turmoil all in a multi combat area >:) I finished my 500th task in a row today, but unfortunately forgot to take a screenshot :( My drops have been sort of average, but here they are from the past week or two. Speaking of titans, I got 95 summoning a few days back, giving me access to the Iron Titan (nooby I know :P) and also the requirement for the last achievement diary, I've now got full elite gear.

I've finished my Uni course and with the extra time on my hands I decided to go for a special 99, something rare and difficult. I chose Runecrafting as I was very close. After a few weeks of finishing off some Uni stuff and Runecrafting I got 99 :D Just a few 99s left, and with this spare time I should have them quickly.
99 Runecrafting
25th October
All those dungeoneering trips I promised last blog update never happened :| I wont try and promise anymore, but Uni is nearly over, just about a month left and I'm a free man, unless I go back for post graduate study of course, but I might defer. Enough of that and onto the 'scape: I reached 97 Runecrafting before, pretty much all of 96-97 was done through assisting effigies once per day. I am so glad I'm now 97, previously to help people with a level 97 Runecrafting effigy I would lead them to Dorgeshuun where the guy would give a random magic or rc boost between -2 and +2, so it sometimes took a while. I also decided to do one slayer task today, and I'm glad I did. ~200 gargoyles or so was pretty quick, and made me 1.2m richer with 4 maul drops :D

I had a week off Uni last week which gave me some time to play. I decided to dedicate the time to Dungeoneering. I managed to get from 69 to 73. If I have time I will try and do at least one dungeon a night, so hopefully I'll have 80+ shortly. and WOW I just realised this thread is over 2 years old!! :O

13th September
After getting a few weeks ahead in Uni work I decided it was time for a break, so I spent my whole weekend slaying. I got very lucky too. On Friday I got two dark bows from my Dark Beasts task. On Saturday a focus sight from Desert Stykewyrms (the first time I had these by the way), and two, yes two staves of light from Ice Strykewyrms. I even got a d spear :P On top of the valuable drops, I got 5 effigies which I used on Runecrafting (now level 96) and summoning.

For sometime how I have been collecting money here and there and investing in ingredients for 99 herblore. I was about to make these a few weeks ago when the bonus xp weekend was announced. I held on to them. Just earlier today the bonus xp weekend was released and I began with a quick farming run to boost my farming xp and rank. I then jumped straight into herblore. I had 99 very quickly. It turns out I previously had enough ingredients in my bank for 99 without the bonus xp weekend, but I decided to make all of my potions anyway for boss hunting. I ended with 15m herblore xp, 2m more than I ever dreamed of getting (herb is expensive remember :P). Until my experience multiplier wears down to 1.1x I will do agility, then summoning at the end (I should have enough for only 91 - one level :s). Speaking of summoning, that is the only buyable I have left to get 99 in :D

I've just been slaying this weekend, doing clues along the way. I only got level 3s, and horrible rewards. The highlight of the weekend was a maul drop, and effigy (all the xp to myself :D).

Since 99 smithing I haven't been able to play much, just the occasional farming run. I have been really bogged down at work and university work. This weekend I needed a break and completed a few slayer tasks. I received Ice Strykewyrms for the first time today, I got very lucky and got a staff of light. I need to do some more uni work now, but if I get some extra time tonight I plan on getting back into Dungeoneering, I really want 70.

I have reached 99 smithing. It started off very quick but I got a very bad cold a week ago and stayed in bed for a while. The party was a bit of a flop, took about 15 minutes to gather just 6 people, then I realised I didn't have enough runes for 2 superheat spells. Then when I levelled for some reason the sparks did not shoot so nobody knew I got 99 - I had to message my friend who was there to tell everybody to say their messages, but they weren't at the same time. Either way, I am very proud, I have admired 99 smithing since day one, back when smithing rune made a player god-like.
99 Smithing
5th July
Today I got 93 smithing, which earned me 2400 total. I am pulling in 115k smithing and 50k magic experience per hour, so I should have 99 smithing in no time, hopefully in the next week or two. I have 100k gold ore left to go :P

It has been a long few weeks, but finally I got 99 fishing. When I began I wasn't sure I was going to make it, I didn't really like fishing, but rocktails weren't that bad, and I even see myself going back sometime soon. But for now I will most likely try camping at Tormented Demons for effigies, which I will use the lamp on herblore.
99 Fishing
21st June
I have just hit the 300m total experience mark! :D I don't have much else to write, although I did get 97 fishing a few days ago. I have a few exams coming up, so I will probably need to take a break until those are done, then it's back to fishing.
300m Total XP
16th June
As I mentioned in my last blog entry it has been a dungeoneeing/fishing-fest. I raised my dungeoneering to 66, but then threw in the towel as I had a lot of trouble finding a reliable team, either people that would play one match and then leave or those that pulled a tantrum when they didn't get the armour from the table and left immediately. I will wait until the dungeoneering update 2 before I continue. I decided to give rocktail fishing another go, I kept hearing about being able to get 40k experience per hour down there with little attention, perfect while I study. On my previous two attempts I had given up because it seemed so slow, but I finally decided to spend an hour in the cavern and see how much experience I really got, and it was ~40k. I have been fishing here since (just under a week) and have gained three fishing levels, I am now level 96 with 450k to 97. I will be going straight to 99, until then I probably wont have another blog entry, but I hope you can make it to the party :)

I have been slaying since the last blog entry, it has been a lot of fun considering I hadn't played much over the last 5 months. I had my first strykewyrm task yesterday, which got me a shiny new hexcrest. Just before I got 95 slayer :D I will probably just work on dungeoneering/fishing now, with a few farming runs in between. Even though I am not planning on doing any more slayer for a while, I still bought a focus sight to make my slayer helmet full :P

Well I finally finished uni for this semester (there's still a month until the exams) so I finally had some time to do something other than farming, and something actually interesting to blog about, and probably to read about too :P I was itching to slaughter some animals so got some slayer gear and started on my dark beast task that has laid dormant for over 5 months. This followed by blue dragons which were a cash injection, followed by iron dragons which were very easy now I had 85+ herblore and could use a zamorakian spear on them, which got me a dragon platelegs drop. I also got a rare drop on my abyssal demons task, just not THE rare drop that is sought after, it was a dragon med helm :( A few tasks later I did a treasure trail that has been staring at me for 5 months, but only got a guthix page, but hey it's a TT only reward and deserves to go on the list right? The tasks were getting completed very quickly with extreme potions, although I wasn't feeling too great so went to bed. In the morning I had another blue dragons task, etc etc until my abyssal demons task >:) After around 100 kills I finally got the drop I was after, and then guess what, I DCED!!! :'( When I logged back in the whip was safely in my inventory, I must have clicked just in time :D I will probably continue until I get 95 slayer and then evaluate whether I have enough time to continue or I need to get back to studying and be stuck on just farming runs…

With around 27k potato cactuses I forgot were floating around in my bank, I decided to buy lantadymes and turn them into magic potions. I also made 500 of each extreme potions to later turn into overloads. When I got to 94 I collected some brown spice to make those 500 overloads, after all +2 herblore through spicy stews cant be too uncommon can it? WRONG. I got just up to 96 with the first stew before 10 in a row failed me, the last three pushed me to 99, 98 and 97 though. I only managed to mix 81 overloads, so I decided to keep going and get 95, then I could at least use regular greenman's ales for the final +1. I got 95 and 2376 total, unfortunately a month later than when I wanted it :P Spent maybe 110m on those 4 and a half levels, what a money sink :( I'll make these overloads and see if I have enough money to continue on to 96, I will be around 300k experience away.

Ever since I got 99 farming it's been hard to stay away from the patches. I still do herb runs, but I have substituted watermelons for limpwurt roots, and now I can bathe in money that there's no watermelons pulling me down. I have been meaning to get back to dungeoneering, so two days ago I decided to stop farming (yes it was tough) and just keep my account at Daemonheim. When I have some spare time on my hands I plan to log on and complete a floor. Yesterday I got 41 dungeoneering, it's starting to move a lot quicker than the previous levels (8-20 seemed like it took forever). My next assignment is due tomorrow, leaving a month gap until the next bunch come up, so hopefully I have enough time to pump out some levels. Oh yeah and now I am ranked in the top 2000 :)
17th April 2010
Phew. Long farming runs are finally a thing of the past. After 5 months of solid watermelon/herb runs every 90 minutes or so I finally achieved 99 farming. It was long, it was tedious, but more importantly it was profitable, take that people that bought 99 farming! :D
As far as Dungeoneering goes, I've briefly been playing, but not too much due to study. I am hoping to get 60+ within now and next month. I will begin fishing while studying, it will probably be my next 99 :)
99 Farming
11th April
I have been pretty inactive from RuneScape lately, with uni assignments. I have only been on for farming runs. After getting pretty far ahead on uni work I decided to look into 90 hunter, so I would be 90+ everything. I tried traditional red chinchompas, but it is way too crowded and the experience wasn't worth it. I settled on using hunter potions to boost my hunter level over 90, so I could catch Snowy Knight Butterflies, which also give agility experience. I was easily getting 120k+ experience per hour here. A few days ago I reached 91 agility, and just before I got 90 hunter, making all my skills over 90 :) Also, I'm under 400k to 99 farming, which will hopefully be achieved within two weeks.
90 Hunter
12th March
Just as I was about to shut down my computer for the day, the bonus experience weekend became active. I decided to stay up and make all my potions - as there was no chance of being able to sell them if other people got in before me. I powered through four herblore levels ending up at 90 herblore with a total of 2.2m herblore experience. I am quite close to 91, but it isn't a goal right now. When the bonus experience weekend is over I will be back to 99 farming and 90 hunter, which will be 90+ for all my stats :D On another side note, I am only 65 levels away from 2376 total :P
90 Herblore
26th February
I've been training my lower skills lately. Getting 86 herblore and a few agility levels using the horn from barbarian assault. To make charging the horn easier I got to level 5 in all roles, previously I was only a level 5 healer. I reached 90 agility just today. I will probably continue to train it, up until I start back at uni next week, then I'll reconsider based on my workload.

Sorry I haven't been on for three weeks. My laptop's logic board broke, it would usually cost $1350 AU to fix, but I got the retailer to repair it even though it was out of warranty. But enough of that, I'm back now and to kick it off, I just got 96 farming and 2300 total. Only 76 levels until I'm completely maxed now <3 Thanks to all that came.

It's been slow, but I achieved 90 smithing :D I am pretty tired so I'm going to bed. Tomorrow I don't know what I will do, but I will always continue farming runs :)
90 Smithing
15th January
A few days ago I planned to get 85 smithing, then use evil stews to hopefully raise my smithing by 6 in order to do the rune crossbow task for the elite Ardy diary. I smelted gold bars to 85 and collected perhaps 10 four dose orange spice cans, which took ages - but I also took the brown ones for herblore some time in the future. It was a failure, the closest I got was 90 smithing, one away from the goal. I have decided just to get 90 smithing then use a dwarves stout to make the crossbow. I did a quick recount on my charms today too and realised I could get 90 summoning, so I quickly did so. Just another 90+ on the wall :P
Oh yeah I also won the AotM best personality for December. I send a big thanks out to all my readers, voters and nominators (if that's a word hehe :D).

A very historical day in the life of the twizmeister. So yesterday I had Jad as my slayer task, but unfortunately I failed, it was my 400th task in a row though. I gave it another shot but failed again. I hit the hay for another day of slaying. A clue made me 550k richer with a zamorak page. Because I still had my Jad gear in the bank I gave it another shot, and was successful :D My first fire cape <3 After showing it off for a bit I sold my Jad gear, and went on a farming run, I got 81 herblore from cleaning the herbs :P A slayer task got me 17m attack experience. I've got more slayer lined up for tomorrow, but for now it's time to catch some zees.

Today I just slayed while farming in between. I also did clues after each task if I got one. I decided to remove gargoyles from my banned list, seeing as they now have the right click smash option and mauls are a lot higher in price. My first task was 189 gargoyles, with the new soul split prayer I didn't even need food or a bunyip, and because I flick it I don't need prayer potions either. I powered through, getting a ferocious ring and two granite mauls. I did a farming run and the clue, which was a blue dragonhide body (t), which is only worth 3k so I didn't even bother screenshotting it. Next up was 97 iron dragons which I regrettably tried to soul split. It started out ok, but with a lot of close calls I don't think I will try it again until I an make super antifires and use a zamorakian spear for stab. Another farming run and clue were done, nothing special. I raced through a task of 175 or so warped tortoises, which I really liked - especially the shell drops. I then got 220 gargoyles which I powered through very quickly with one maul drop. I think gargoyles are my new favourite task! I have 185 or so blue dragons lined up for tomorrow night, I will be busy during the day so I will probably pop on every so often just for a farming trip and to check these forums :)

I'll start off by saying Merry Christmas :D So with mining out of the way, yesterday I decided it was time to get my agile top. I was 84 agility, so some quick laps of the Dorgeshkun course got me 85 (I was only 40k or so away). I geared up for the Glorious Memories quest, which was a lot of running around - quite boring :( I bought some summer pies and headed over to the Barbarian course. I did a whole inventory's worth of pies before banking. Instead of returning I pulled up a guide for Blood Runs Deep, which seemed a lot easier than people were making out. I spent my 450k experience all on prayer, which got me from around rank 9000 to 2000 or so. Afterwards I did another load of pies at the Barbarian course, before calling it quits for the night. The next morning (today) I just did farming runs during the morning and afternoon seeing as it was christmas, then completed the last of the 250 perfect laps for my agile top, which looks better than I remembered it :P

Hooray I just got 98 mining. One last level now, but somehow this is always the fastest because I am more determined :) I am also 89 farming now - I have decided to continue farming while during easy-to-leave-and-return skills, such as between slayer tasks, fishing and between each graahk summoned while runecrafting. Hopefully I will have 99 farming in two months or so. Also sorry I didn't have a blog for each mining level (if people were worried about that), I was levelling too quickly haha :P

A few days ago I managed to get 95 mining, and just earlier I got 87 farming. A recent update to my thread has been the addition of a list of my 99s in order, with a description for each one. It is in the third post, I hope you enjoy it :)
1st December
Today I got 94 mining and 85 farming - I can now farm everything. I think I will continue my lantadyme/watermelon runs because I'm profiting a little and it's pretty good experience, I will get 90 and then decide whether I wish to continue farming.
26th November
There's not much to write - I got 93 mining today and 83 farming yesterday :D

I have just been mining and farming today. I got 91 mining and 81 farming earlier. I have also started growing watermelons for extra experience.
19th November
Sorry I haven't made an entry lately, I have been doing random skills, looking for a 99 that would interest me. I have decided on 99 mining. I have been getting one level a day for the past few days. I achieved 90 mining just before. With the profits I get from 99 from the gold ore, I will most likely buy 99 smithing :) During this endeavour I will grow Lantadymes for farming/herblore.

Exams are coming up, so I haven't been playing much. About a week ago I got another dragon shard duo split. I decided to spend my WGS experience all on agility, then I got myself a pair of agile legs. I am currently 83 agility, 120k or so from 84. After my exams I will get 85 and the agile top. While studying I have been doing some fishing, I got 90 fishing just before :)

26th October
Well I've given up on 85 agility already :( Yesterday I decided to try soloing tormented demons, although on my first two attempts I didn't get any kills, and on my third I only got two kills. This morning I was about to try soloing again, when a friend of mine logged on, so I went with him, another friend of his was supposed to be coming to make it a trio trip. The other person was taking a while, so we started without her, and got a dragon slice split :D She showed up for a bit, then left and we kept killing. After a while he had to go so I stayed on soloing. After a while a group showed up (I was still on the coinshare world), but I only had enough supplies for one more kill, which I told them and they seemed to be fine with it, until they decided to be jerks and lure the other two demons towards me so I would get piled and die. Pretty stupid thing to do considering I had already taken it to under half hitpoints, so I just waited around in a safe spot until they killed it themselves, then I grabbed the drop and teleported away. I restocked and went soloing, getting myself a dragon shard (4m) :D

To prepare for tormented demons I decided to get 88 summoning, which is exactly what I did today. Over the last few days I had been collecting obsidian charms in the tzhaar city, which I finished collecting this morning so I powered through and got 88 from 84 in the time it took for two spirit kyatts to die, I also got 137 combat :D I am ready to go to tormented demons now, but I think I will get (or try to get) 85 agility first, then head off for some claws when that is complete (or I have given up).
21st October
Over the last few days I have been questing like crazy, trying to get 270 quest points for While Guthix Sleeps. Just after I got 270 yesterday, the Ardougne achievement diary came out, so I started that instead of WGS. I got completed all from easy medium and hard except the Jade Vine part, because I had to plant mine and wait for it to grow. I also had to do the Tower of Life quest in order to do some of the diary. I then went to the circus and finally got my giant's hand. The next morning (22nd), I quickly got 80 agility, then started WGS, which was pretty easy I must say. I sold my lump, dagon'hai and elite armour, and decided on 88 summoning for 137 combat and so I can kill tormented demons more effectively, So I bought 500g granite and bones which I converted to bananas (seeing as bananas wouldn't sell). I then did As A First Resort... so I have access to the shop in oo'gloog to buy my raw bird meat over the next few days, and am now camping at the tzhar city for obsidian charms for my 1100 blue charms. Here is a funny picture from Catapult Construction :P

Ah, finally I hear you say. That's right, today I got 99 construction, thanks to everybody that came, you made it a great party :D Aside from 99 construction, I did the following quests today: rocking out, tribal totem and back to my roots (mainly because they give agility experience - except for the tribal totem one but that was a prerequisite for back to my roots, which was not fun on account of the vine maze). Here is my 99 picture, I will add the video as soon as I'm done with it :)

After the level I went to the grand exchange to sell my potions and herbs while they were high priced, which brought me quite close to 10m, so I did a little bit of runecrafting for the rest of the cash and bought a steel dragon. I have also set the party details, which can be viewed here
95 Construction
11th October
Just trained construction today, in total I got 2.6m experience getting me to level 94. I will probably have the party on saturday, so I can have some time to build my house and buy a steel dragon if I have the money, otherwise I will need to add it after the party. Also I forgot to mention yesterday that I switched from oak larders and a demon butler to oak doors and a normal butler, which is actually about half the cost in butler fees, and more experience anyway :D
10th October
I just trained construction today, getting over 2m experience, getting me 90 :D I also realised that bagged magic trees were only 50k, so I bought two of those for my garden :P Hmm I suppose I better show my house plan...
90 Construction
House Plan
9th October
Yesterday I finished getting all 4400 stealing creation points required for 99 construction, so I started buying the tools. I bought a full inventory (560 points worth) before I realised I had bought volatile instead of morphic :( As anybody could imagine, I was pretty mad, but held up my chin and used the ones that turned into hammers today (discarding the rest) to get only one 10th of the experience the morphic versions would have gotten me, getting me 81 construction - but now I was 400 points away from the amount I needed for 99. I managed to get those 400 points back today, and (carefully) bought 36 morphic tools. I have begun to use these, getting 85 construction not too long ago, 1.3m experience for today :)
99 Construction Banked
7th October
Not much has been happening since my last blog entry except for 88 fishing and a bit of runecrafting. I am currently 190k from 95. I have now got all the oak planks banked for 99 construction, now I just need to make an extra 5m or so for butler costs and get 600 more stealing creation points. I am going to hold off on rebuilding my house and buying the steel dragon until after I have done while guthix sleeps and get myself some claws :D
99 Construction Planks
29th September
I continued runecrafting today, getting closer and closer to my 150k natures goal. At the 110k natures mark, I had run out of graham pouches, and they were being merchanted so I had nothing to do. I started thinking about thinks after 99 construction, and how I will be completely broke again. So while I was waiting for the pouches/fur to buy, I decided to start doing quests for While Guthix Sleeps, so I can kill tormented demons for money :P I did Defender of Varrock and Summer's End (proud to say I only died once during the first room) before 10 graph furs bought, so I turned them into pouches, then went back to the GE where I sold all 110k natures - I was going to wait until they hit 400 each, but I think 310 is probably the highest they will go, and also I saw a bunch of people selling them on the forum, so I decided it was time to sell. I will continue runecrafting tomorrow.
Money From Runecrafting
14th August
When I first got on today I went on a farming run. The first yew tree I checked in lumbridge was dead, which made me think I might have forgotten to pay all the farmers and had blown 500k. Fortunately that was the only dead tree - I was very close to 79 farming after this run, but my papayas hadn't fully grown yet, so I went to edgeville to gear up for some nature runecrafting. I ended up logging off however, and didn't do any runecrafting. When I logged back on I went back to those papayas which got me to 79 farming. I was close to 86 fishing too, so I decided to go and get that, which also got me to 2200 total.
2200 Total
12th August
I got 78 farming today, but still had the same papaya problem - they seemed to take much longer than usual. Anyway, now I've got everything I'll need for 80 farming I have started buying supplies for 80 herblore, which I will make 6672 ranging potions with a 13m loss. So far I have all the water filled vials I need, and half the wines.
11th August
I woke up this morning expecting to get 77 farming, but those papayas still hadn't grown! I had to wait about an hour until I could check them, get 77 farming and plant the new ones. Also I was unable to get yew seeds from the GE, so I had to go with maple seeds for today. Aside from farming, I have just been runecrafting. I made about 25k natures today, which got me to 93 runecrafting. Before I logged off for today, I sold my natures and bought 20 papaya seeds, some cactus spines and put up an offer for 20 yew seeds, which hopefully will be complete by the morning, otherwise I'll need to stick with maples again.
10th August
I got 80 construction, as I had planned. Apart from that I have been fishing and farming, because I have been working on some massive assignments. I would have gotten 77 farming too, but my papaya trees were being stubborn.
80 Construction
9th August
I haven't done much leveling since 99 prayer, although yesterday I did manage to get 75 farming - I have mainly been runecrafting to get 80+ in all skills. Also yesterday I managed to kill myself while runecrafting, I was about to enter the abyss but changed windows, then I flicked back I was falling to the ground after a revenant dragon hit. I lost my penance gloves, three biggest pouches and my inferno adze. I managed to get the pouches back pretty quickly, although the adze took a while. I still haven't got the penance gloves back yet, I will be sure to do that soon.
As for today, I bought all the planks needed for 80 construction with my runecrafting money. I got from 71 to 74 quite quickly, then I went to do my weekly tears, which got me 72 herblore, before a farming run getting me 76 farming. I'm now back at construction, I ended up getting 77, 80 will be tomorrow. All the levels I got today moved me up 500 ranks, I'm now in the top 4700.
3rd August
So here's the result of 130m spent in 7 days or so - 99 prayer!!!
99 Prayer
99 Prayer (Video)
2nd August
I got 98 prayer and 126 f2p combat just before. I should have 99 prayer tomorrow. I will work out some times so stay tuned for the party details.
126 Combat
31st July
Today I got 95 and 96 prayer. Well, not really, 95 was yesterday I just didn't think it was blog-worthy. Anyway, I'm into the million xp gap between levels now and uni work it starting to pile up, so it could take a while.
29th July
93 and 94 prayer today, which got me 136 combat on members worlds. When I'm finished I think I'll runecraft a little to make enough money to get 80+ in all skills (construction, herblore and farming are the only ones I'll need money for).
28th July
Last night I finally bought everything I need for 99 prayer. I also got to 92. Give me a few days and I should be 99.
26th July
I still had a few thousand bones in my bank, enough for 91 prayer, so I got that. No more bones left so it's definitely back to runecrafting for money now.
25th July
When I logged in this morning I got right back into prayer. I got from 86 to 90 prayer pretty quickly, which also got me 125 combat in free worlds. I was the top gainer for prayer today with 2.6m. I ripped through 40m in two days to get from 80 to 90. After this I wanted to show off for a bit (guilty lol), so I went to play clan wars on a free world. I started off in free for all, then created my own clan for the clan portal with my friend. We were undefeated for a long time, but then went up against a clan with a lot more higher levels than us. Towards the end of the fight, they invited me and my friend to join them so we merged. Between clan fights I went to the dangerous free for all. I managed to kill some level 80 in full rune - one of those ones that tries to step over the barrier with one hit then run back, too bad for him his plan backfired. After a few more clan runs we all went to safe free for all. It got boring after a while, so I went back to runecrafting so I can afford 99 prayer with these high bone prices, or until bones come back down.
90 Prayer
Day's Top Prayer Gainer
24th July
When I logged on this morning my plan was to continue hunting until bones came down far enough. I saw however that red chinchompas had reached 799 gp each so it was an ideal time to sell. I headed over to the ge and sold 5150 red chins from my 80-85 hunting spree, which got me a little over 4.2m. I decided to check out how much bones would buy for, but then thought "ah what the heck" so bought 15k dragon bones, enough for 90 prayer. I will get the rest either when they come down or I get impatient yet again. I also put in offers for war tortoises and marrentills, but the tortoises were taking ages, and the marrentills were buying very slowly. I put in an offer for some grimy marrentills to speed things up, cleaning them as they bought. When I had all my marrentills, I was still waiting on the tortoises, so I decided to start with spirit terrorbirds instead until they bought. I started knocking off levels super quickly, getting perhaps 200-250k experience per hour. 82 prayer got me to 124 combat in free worlds. Just as I was about to leave for dinner, I saw the ge updated so quickly popped in there and bought 150 war tortoises for max price (I probably won't need that many but they're useful anyway). I came back and knocked off more levels. 86 prayer got me to 135 combat, which I decided was a good place to leave it for today. In total I got 1.7m prayer experience today. I should be able to get 90 prayer tomorrrow - then back to money making/waiting for bones to drop.
22nd July
I decided to keep hunting for a bit, perhaps until dragon bones come down to 2700 or so - they started dropping again last night. I ended up getting 84 and 85 hunter, which also got me ranked in the top 6000.
21st July
Got 82 and 83 hunter today. Finally I can hunt everything, I think I'll keep going for a bit, I'm starting to get used to it. Again, dragon bones rose, I can't believe it :(
20th July
Runecrafting was getting a little boring so I switched over to hunter for a bit and got 81. I'll keep hunting to at least 83, so I don't miss out of any dragon imps I see flying around. Also just when I thought bone prices were going to slip into reach, they peaked back up...
16th July
Today I got 92 runecrafting. From 91 I have made about 25m, which I have saved most of, but also spent a bit on farming, getting me from 71-74 since my last blog entry. I am still waiting for bones to crash, hopefully they will after last night's pvp update - some people might go back to killing dragons for money instead of doing the "trick", pulling bones down in price.
10th July
Finally, I made it! Got to 91 runecrafting today. Two nature runes per essence now means I can make tons of cash to help fill that gap because of the rise in dragon bones. I have also bought 100 graahks and 400 rings of dueling.
91 Runecrafting
8th July
Well well well. If you asked me which skill I never would have thought to have got to 90+ this year, I would have said runecrafting, more on that later. This morning I woke up and jumped straight into rc, getting to exactly 200m total experience. Not long after that I got 90 runecrafting (just one more level until I am rolling in it). Shortly after 90, mobilising armies came out so I went to try it. To be honest, I can't believe we waited so long for this... (12 months?) I found it super boring and you can't even select all of your men with one click. Anyway I'm sure you aren't reading this to hear me rant on so I will leave it at that :P
200m Total Experience
90 Runecrafting
6th July
From the 1st to around the 3rd or so I didn't play much at all, I just left my account at the grand exchange so I could check how selling my dragon full helmets were going. I managed to sell them all still gaining a profit of around 10m overall. Now I'm just waiting for dragon bones to crash, which they have begun to do so. I have just been runecrafting, getting closer to 91, so I can make some money when I'm completely broke after 99 prayer :P Got 89 runecrafting before.
1st July
My first task for today was 43 iron dragons, which I finished pretty quickly. Then I had hellhounds, half way through I was ready to get 99 defence. I thought I was going to have to wait around for a while for a genie lamp, but as soon as I teleported out of there I had a random event (lucky me). So a few people came and congratulated me then I went back to zmi for a bit to get rid of my 10k essence left over. I got bored at 8k essence left though, so just decided to fish monkfish, which got me to 85 fishing. I haven't forgotten about 99 prayer, I'm just waiting for dragon bones to crash, I think they're being merchanted right now.
99 Defence
30th June
Ahh the last two days have been hell. I upgraded my internet and so I couldn't be online for two days while they upgraded something in my neighborhood. Well it's back and working now anyway, although it was a bit weird coming back after being forced into going cold turkey. When I logged in I was 280k away from 99 defence. My first task was kalphites, but I couldn't be bothered worrying about poison so I just killed the little ones. During this time I made the discovery that, kalphites are insects, so it would be assumed they don't drop bones, but when you examine the bones on the ground in their lair it says "remains of a kalphite", implying they should be dropping bones. Tisk tisk... So anyway after that task I had aberrant spectres, which annoyed me quite a bit because I wasn't in the mood for prayer switching (seeing as I had sold all of my potions). After that dreadful task was some easy nechryael, which got me 70k defence experience. My next task was my 350th task in a row, and duradel knew what I wanted, spiritual mages, and he was even kind enough to give them to me. 165 kills of nothing was looking pretty dull, but on my final kill for the task I was rewarded with 225 slayer points, and a pair of red shiny boots. Not far away from 99 defence now, will definitely get it tomorrow. Also those dragon full helmets are going well too.
Dragon Boots
27th June
This morning when I logged in, 3 of those 5 dragon full helmets had bought. I think because they raised over a certain amount the number you can buy per 4 hours has been reduced from 5 to 1. Anyway, I did that dust devil task quickly, and then got an iron dragon task. When I was there some ranger died to one of the dragons, which added some fun to my task. Also when he returned to get his stuff, he didn't bring an antifire shield, so died again haha. About 5 kills from the end of my task I got a dragon plateskirt. I then did a quick dagannoth task followed by abyssal demons. I didn't get a whip but I did get a clue, although that had a junk reward. Also during the abyssals task another dragon full helm bought. Duradel decided to be mean to me then and gave me 6 mithril dragons, which I ranged in one trip. He then gave me a task of 195 spiritual mages (the first one I've had in a long long time), on the 177th kill I got dragon boots, which were the only pair I had for the trip. After the 195 though, I decided to stay on just for a few more kills, and sure enough, it paid off, another pair of boots. I sold those at the GE and then it updated, so took out my old offer for the last dragon full helm and put it back in for the new max, which I got a few minutes later.

This morning I continued on with those dark beasts from last night. I managed to do them all in one trip which made me a happy chappy, although I did teleport out of there with 17hp :o Duradel then gave me dark beasts, which was good because I was eager to do a few more clues. When I arrived there I got a clue pretty quickly, and seeing as my whip loan time was about to run out I went to do it before finishing the task. I got junk, so I reborrowed another whip and went back to slaying hellhounds. They gave me another clue so after the task I did it, I had two puzzles in a row which was pretty annoying. Don't get me wrong, I like the puzzles but two in a row is a lot of clicking... Anyway, it was worth it seeing as I got a rune platebody (g). Duradel then gave me bloodvelds, great experience, but I got no clues. Not to worry, he then hit me with another hellhound task. During this task I did each clue as I got it, I got 4 clues in total getting me, in this order: junk, saradomin page, enchanted hat (sad adding this to my drop list I know, but it's a unique treasure trail reward), and more junk. I then had another bloodveld task for some more great experience. I have a dust devil task lined up for tomorrow, which will be task number 340.
I also decided to try and rebuy those 5 dragon full helmets, I had gotten 1 of 5 when I logged off for tonight, so hopefully that means I'm first in line for the next 4. Goodnight.

1/5 Dragon Full Helmets
25th June
Since my last post I have done a little bit of merchanting. About 5 days ago as soon as the GE updated I put an offer in for 5 dragon full helms at max, which I got of course because I was quick :P I sold those yesterday for about 6m profit, I wish I waited but a silly friend (yes you know who you are) told me they were crashing :( I also sold a lot of my bank, so I can get 99 prayer when I want it.
So finishing another one of my exams (just one left now) I was hoping to get back to runecrafting, but because I was close to 92 slayer, I decided to get that instead. My slayer gear is pretty nooby right now, I am using rune platelegs, a slayer helmet, a fighter torso, a rune defender, climbing boots, a skillcape and a borrowed whip because I sold all of my normal stuff. My first task was greater demons, which I killed at the brimhaven dungeon. Pretty boring really, but I got a clue scroll, which got me guthix platelegs, woot. Next Duradel gave me hellhounds, also pretty boring, but I got 92 slayer and another clue scroll. Usually when I get clue scrolls they sit in my bank collecting dust for weeks before I get around to doing them because I get bad rewards, but having gotten the platelegs earlier I decided to try doing them after each task where I got one. This one was a dud, just some firelighters and a rune platebody or something. Anyway, then I had a nechryael task that gave me a clue which led to a guthix page, only 27k or something, but at least it's a treasure trail reward. Duradel then gave me an aberrant spectre task, which is good seeing as I sold pretty much all my herbs. I got to 98 defence and 134 combat on this task, and of course got another clue. This clue gave me a zamorak page, selling it brought my cash pile up to 90m :D I then passed 18m hitpoints experience on my next task of nechryaels, and got another clue, this one gave junk though. I then completed a quick kalphites task. Next up is dark beasts, but I'll leave that for tomorrow.

16th-18th June
So with my exam tomorrow on the 17th, today I took it slow and fished monkfish at that fishing colony so I could study at the same time. I managed to get 84 fishing and break that 100k fishing rank - now currently all of my skills are ranked under 100k. In total I managed to get about 2000 monkfish, worth 800k. Not bad for a day of fish'n'study if I can say so myself :) After my exam on the 17th I came home and went straight back to runecrafting, getting 87 around midnight. On the 18th I managed to get 88, but after that it was boring the hell out of me so I went to world 16 for a suspected easy 30k experience from the assist thing, but there were a few other people, so I ended up just walking around showing off :P Before doing a bit more runecrafting for the night, I did a treasure trail, but got junk as per usual. I was the highest runecrafting experience gaining player for today.
Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention that after that pvp drops update, I bought 19 fury amulets, 10 granite mauls and 10 dark bows. I have so far sold the furies for a total profit of 2m (hooray) and I'm hanging on to the others for a little while. I sold the furies because people can get them for 2m easily if they just sell chaos runes to the tztok place for tokkul, then buy an onyx. Also soon I'm coming up to 200m total experience, shall be good.
Day's Top Runecrafter
Merchant Items
12th-15th June
The last four days have been pretty fast paced. After having finished all of the achievement diaries, I decided to get back to runecrafting seeing as I still had 35k essence banked. I was also eager to test out the super fast method of using lurkers and fire runes to bank at the ZMI altar. I was able to get around 40k experience per hour, which got me to 83 runecrafting on the 12th. When I woke up on the 13th I was right back into it, getting to 84 runecrafting still with a bit of time to spare, which got me about 100k into 85, which I achieved on the 14th. On the 14th I also realized that carrying all of my laws and astrals with me was a mistake, seeing as 99.9% of the time I would runecraft enough to teleport me anyway, so I banked those which gave way for +2 essence each trip :) On the 15th I got to 86 runecrafting, and also was ranked 6 in the top gains for runecrafting today. That was four levels in four days, I have an exam in a few days so I will not be playing much, but when it's done I'll try and get 91 runecrafting so I can make cash for 99 prayer.
Rank 6 Daily Runecrafting Experience
9th-11th June
For too long had I been stuck with just an explorer ring and karamja gloves. On the 9th I decided to finally complete all the diaries - this meant a lot of work :(
First I had to do the following quests:
- Hazeel Cult (1)
- In Aid of The Myreque (5)
- Meeting History (2)
- Observatory Quest (3)
- Ratcatchers (4)
- Enlightened Journey (6)
I did those in the order shown, I was beginning to get really frustrated on "In Aid of The Myreque". When I do quests I look through a guide, buy everything I need then put it in my inventory with a terrorbird so I don't need to bank too often. Unfortunately with this quest, I also needed to pick up a lot of items, which means I was having to drop-pickup a lot of things which is really annoying (especially when they start to disappear :( I ended up banking about 5 times during this quest because of this. Enlightened Journey was sort of the same, but not nearly as bad because Entrana isn't so far way. So with the quests out of the way I did most of the Varrock Diary, just leaving the poison ivy part because I planted it and needed to wait for it to grow. Next up was the Seers diary, which was pretty easy. Then I completed most of the Falador Diary, again just leaving the part where I had to grow something, the Yew tree. During this quest is when the rest update came out (along with about 50 billion bugs). When the idle monster bug was present was when I was up to the skeletal wyvern part of the diary - I killed it without the shield because of this :) I also went back to pick a poison ivy thing from my plant for the Varrock Diary. I called it a night after this diary, seeing as it was like 3am. In the morning I cut down my yew tree to finish the falador diary, and used the lamp on construction which got me to 71. Then I was straight on to the last one, Fremmenik. Pretty simple, I knocked out MOST of them quickly. I deposited about 60k to my coffer for the mahogany log part which I could check the next day (11th). The only part left was the bit where they use my Fremmenik name while I wear a set of armour. I was at the GE for at least an hour here, nobody was selling. I ended up having to buy a circular hide and another type (legs and helmet in total I forget the names for them) and having to get dagganoth hide myself by killing them. This took ages too, just to get 3 hides. Funny thing was, when I needed to kill 3 dagannoths for the medium part one dropped a hide that I didn't think to pick up. So I got the first 3 pretty slowly. Then I thought I'd kill just a few more so I could prove that my luck was that bad that they'd start dropping them like crazy after I had all I needed and sure enough they did, they dropped two in like 5 kills as opposed to the previous 3 in 100. So I made my helmet and legs and went back to the GE so I could borrow someone's rock-shell plate. I accidentally picked somebody with a GRANITE plate.. ugh how silly am I? So I had to go all the way back there again and I was searching around for someone with a rock-shell plate when I decided to try buying it again - this time it bought instantly, wtf... So anyway I got that part done then played some clan wars to relieve some stress built up from these darn diaries. The next day (11th) I went straight to Miscellania to collect my mahogany logs and complete the last diary. Hooray XD
Full achievement diary gear
8th June
Boom! Finally got to 99 range, I'm glad to be done with it, I actually hate range haha. Thanks to everyone that came to the party, now I will be doing a few quests so I can complete all the achievement diaries.
99 Range
5th June
Just one more to go! Got 98 range before. Also all assignments are in, now its just exams then back to the good ol' scape.
1st June
Hooooray 97 range, now long now! Just one assignment left too, but then there's exams next week, there's just no break.
29th May
96 range not long ago. Now I'm into the millions between levels. Also another assignment was due today, which means just two left.
27th May
95 range today. After 99 I should have finished uni for this semester, then it's back to slayer.
23rd May
Well nevermind what I said last blog, it turns out I read a few assignment dates wrong and I have three due in two weeks. Anyway, I got 94 range yesterday, and I will keep on training at bandits.
20th May
93 range today. I have an assignment due tomorrow, which means I can spend a bit more time 'scaping... I was hoping to get back to runecrafting, although, I'm starting to enjoy bandits.
18th May
Another day of study - meaning 92 range.
15th May
So I've still got a lot of assignments, but studying while ranging at bandits is paying off, I got 91 range today.
13th May
So seeing as I have a lot of assignments coming in, I figured I'd semi afk range at bandits with a bunyip, and it's going just swell. I got 90 range today.
90 Range
10th May
82 runecrafting last night, still haven't been able to play much, that's why it took over a week for one level. I've got about 40k essence left to use.
2nd May
Today I have just been runecrafting, I got level 81 not too long ago.
22nd-30th April
Sorry that it's been so long since my last update, uni has had me really busy, although I managed to get a day in today worthwhile writing about. Just to recap on what has been happening over the last week (since 80 runecrafting), I finished runecrafting but kept my essence. I sold all the runes I made and re-bought my saradomin godsword and went back to slayer. Between the last update and today (not including today) I only did 5 tasks perhaps, those being Nechraeyal, Dust devils, Dagannoth and I'm sure some other things which have escaped my mind right now. Anyway today I got a task of 190 dark beasts, which I wasn't exactly happy about, but then again I wasn't mad either. First I decided to restock on magic imp boxes so I could bank my mourners gear while down there, which took a while (I caught a full inventory of imps - 28). So onto the task: I managed to do the entire 190 in one trip in which I got a dark bow and in total made 1.2m including the ore I mined there. I went back to duradel and he gave me nechryael, which I am saving for another day. After that I went to the GE to try and get rid of the dark bow - although it wouldn't sell for mid so I tried trading it off with my lent sgs for 24 hours, but no takers. In the end I settled for a GE price of 10k under the market value, not too shabby (I thought it was going to be min or nothing). Next I started thinking about buying a dragonfire shield, pulling random items out of my bank to make 17.7m, which I did have enough but after the 30 minutes of searching through items, I didn't end up buying one anyway. Around there I realized I was only 3k from 71 herblore, so I got that level then went back to runecrafting, I got about 5k essence done today (still ZMIing).
Dark Bow
1.2m Dark Beast Trip
21st April
Another day of runecrafting, got 80 today, 65k essence left to use, it should get me to around 84 or so, then it's back to slayer.
80 Runecrafting
20th April
Today was another day of runecrafting. I managed to get from 78 to 79. Also today I did a price check on most of my bank, I had 60m from the things I checked, so I estimate I have around 65 to 70m in total!
15-18th April
My first slayer task for the 15th was black dragons. I seem to be getting these one in every ten tasks or so now, which is starting to get annoying, I used to look forward to black dragons. Anyway after I finished I did the 26k trick twice, gaining potential for an hour each time, but nothing worthwhile mentioning, only around 220k loot each time. I went back to slaying bronze dragons. During this task talking in Zchat got me thinking about using the ZMI altar to train runecrafting, seeing as I hadn't done any runecrafting for a few years now. After the task I took out some rc gear and headed over to world 70 to test it out (the official ZMI world). I gained 10k rc experience pretty quickly, so I decided to use my 12k essence from slayer drops at the ZMI altar. The next day I got right into rcing, quickly getting level 75 then getting a giant pouch from the abyss. I ended up getting 76 runecrafting with a total of 220k rc experience this day. On the 17th I just ZMI'd to 77. This morning (18th) I decided to take a quick break from runecrafting so I could do my nechryael task which brought me to 97 defence. Later on I got to 78 runecrafting.
14th April
Today started off as any normal day, a slayer task, nechryaels but then turned epic when my friend asked me if I wanted to come and 26k with him. Usually I decline, but I decided to try it out today (first time). The first round wasn't too shabby, I got 38 c'morrigan axes (320k worth), then on our second round I got a guthans helmet (2.1m). I went back to slaying a fire giant task but couldn't help but want to go back for more, although the next round only got me 415k worth of loot. I'm going to bed now, but I expect to do the 26k thing more often.

Instead of three short blogs, I decided to wait a few days then post a longish one of my three day slayer journey. On Saturday my first task was Dark Beasts, which up until then I had hated with a passion but I decided to tweak my current method of killing them slightly, which allowed me to kill them all in one trip without 96 summoning (pack yak for banking abilities). In a nutshell, my new method is to take two 5 magic imp boxes, a saradomin godsword, two bunyips, one spirit terrorbird, prayer potions, super attack potions and a super restore (for prayer and summoning new familiars), rune pickaxe, and wearing prayer boosting gear. When you enter, I use the magic imp boxes to bank my mourners gear, which leaves me two left for 4 rune ore. I summon a bunyip, tank and use saradomin godsword when I can without prayer on, and when needed I protect from melee and let the bunyip heal. Sometimes I need to flash prayer because I take in so much there isn't really much room for enough potions. And that is about all of my new plan, and I use the terrorbird for the end when inventory room is scarce. No dark bows, but three rune chainbodies and three rune full helmets. My next task was aberrant specters, which I range with a bunyip for health when it is low, with the use of my sgs too. Duradel then gave me dust devils, which I hadn't had in at least a month . This was my first time to properly test out 80+ summoning, as I killed the dusties in the chaos tunnel with a hydra, which got my 10k range experience. After this I ranged a kalphite task then a hellhound task, which got me 89 range and 2120 total (when I get 90 I plan on going sara gwd). Another ranged specter task, and my herb collection is going well. Next I had nechryaels, which I planned to go like dust devils, but unfortunately I was prayer flashing half the time because they were really smacking me around. Finally Duradel gave me a long awaited abyssal task, but no whips (though I did get 5 rune chainbodies and herbs - total 300k loot). Oh well that was three days, and now I'm off to bed, snore...
10th April
Sorry that there haven't been many blog entries lately, but uni is too busy. Anyway as it is good friday today, I managed to get some 'scaping done. I completed a shadow warrior slayer task, which brought me to 6m slayer experience. Then I went back to soul wars to get 100 zeal, which got me from 77 to 79 prayer, but I decided I wanted 80 so I went off to kill some green dragons for the last few bones. 80 prayer got me to 123 combat F2P, although I am still 133 P2P.
80 Prayer
4th April
Yesterday I had a massive headache so I wasn't on, sorry for no blog. So this morning I ranged a fire giants task, no rune scimitars - I'm shocked. After this Duradel gave me 45 black dragons, which I did in around 40 minutes. After those dragons I took a task from the fairy babe, but no blue dragons. Instead she gave me jungle horrors, which I slaughtered through quite quickly. Next was the big kahuna - kalphites for my 300th task. Afterwards Duradel gave me more black dragons so I wasn't in the mood so instead did a clue scroll I had, no good reward though. Then I just played some Fist of Guthix, raising my FOG rank by 200 ratings or so, and 20k ranks.
300 Tasks
2nd April
Today was my final day of summoning from this collection of charms. It turns out I under-calculated, and I actually had enough for 84 without using my blues, so I got 84 which also got me to 133 combat. After that I went to play some Crysis before coming back later so I could finally test out titans in soul wars and castle wars, where I got 14m strength xp. That was about all for today, not much variety but now I've finished summoning it will hopefully become more interesting.
1st April
If you read yesterday's blog I bet you can guess what I did today. Summoning, of course! My first kyatt for today got me from 75 to 79, after which I had to sell some junk and my newly made pouches to buy more shards. Unfortunately the runescape forum went down for a while, so I couldn't buy my shards for 18 each using junk to even the price, so for the down time I used my herbs from slayer to pass some time. When the forums came back up I bought 200k shards from one player, then the rest from Pickupstix. This lot got me from 79 to 81 on my second kyatt for today. Anyway, I've still got a few thousand crimsons left, but Disorderly Conduct Caught on Tape is on TV, so it's time to go.
80 Summoning
31st March
A lot happened today. First I completed that black dragon task, then I ranged a dagannoth task to hopefully fulfill my dream of 90 range one day. After this I got a fire giants task, but I decided to do a charm count for the month instead, and find out what level I would be able to reach with my current charms. I found that from 68 I could get 83 without touching my 888 blues, and 86 if I did use the blue charms. I decided it was about time I could use a titan, so I went to the GE to buy supplies to use all the charms except blue. I had about 2.4k green, 2.5k gold, 5.5k crimson I was planning to use, all from slayer. So I bought 2.5k swamp toads, 5.5k granite (500g) and tried to get my hands on 2.4k bananas, but after I got about 40 in two hours I thought my journey would be over before it began. I wasn't going to let that happen, so I went to Catherby and collected the bananas myself from the charter ships - I got 2.4k in about 45 minutes, not too bad if you ask me. So I started summoning away, using my greens and golds which my golds alone got me past 70 (hooray all stats 70+ ftw?). I got to 74 with all my golds and around 680 greens to spare which I will use to make hydras with orbs from waterfiends. Anyway with 74 out of the way it was time to move onto crimsons, with little effort I got almost to 75 very quickly, but then ran out of shards, and with no money left I had to dismiss my kyatt and sell some stuff in the GE. I used that money to get enough shards for 75. After 7 levels without logging out, I decided to call it a night, but first I sold my guthans set and karils top/skirt so I could buy 400k more shards before I hit the hay.
70 Summoning
Oh yeah I forgot to mention this in there and I can't remember when it was, but throughout today I also lent my sgs for 24 hours so I could sell 340k worth of crashing dragon bones. My other 340k worth of dragon bones I used as junk to buy the other spirit shards that got me to 74.
30th March
This morning I finished a massive uni thing, so I spent the rest of the day 'scaping, since I hadn't been on in a while. I didn't update the blog a couple of days ago, but what I missed out on mentioning was I finished that kalphite task and got 44 black dragons. So anyway, I logged on and did the black dragon task my special way - cannoning and meleeing them in the Evil Chicken Lair, which makes a usually slow task very quick. I also use dragon slayer gloves so I got a bonus 4400 slayer experience for that task. When I finish a black dragon task, it is always tradition for me to get a task from that fiary chick, in hope for blue dragons (oh how much I loved blue dragons when I used to always take tasks from her). Of course I didn't get them, I get 40 something bronze dragons. So I banked, thought, "hey I'll take my sgs to heal when I have special", so I put that in my inventory but on my way there somebody in Zchat told me that you can still get hit very hard with antifire potions, so back to the bank I went after having to kill a bajillion pirates for enough money to get off the island. So I walk back again and down into the Brimhaven Dungeon... you probably guessed it, I forgot an axe. Back I went yet again, quadruple checking my inventory to make sure I wouldn't have to walk another marathon just to get this task done (and a pretty bad task at that). Finally when I had finished my bronze dragon task, I went back to Duradel hoping to get some variety, but, you probably guessed this too, more dragons, iron this time. I stocked up on potions, grabbed that axe and went back there. After hacking away at the branches to get through the last little gap, I thought to myself "I wonder if it will let me get back through without an axe..", so out of stupidity I decided to drop my axe and find out. Yes you can get backwards without an axe, but not forwards, so then I was stuck on one side without an axe to get back through. Banked once more (I'm never trying stuff like this again...) and got back to finally do this task. Back to Duradel again, and I get something worthwhile doing - waterfiends (hooray). Got to 91 slayer there, and got a nice collection of crimson charms. Unfortunately Duradel was feeling mean when I went back and gave me black dragons, so I decided to get 76 agility to get to 2100 total. After I had done this a friend of mine got a hilt at godwars which got me into the godwars mood, so found a bandos team to make some money. After a few hours there with no luck, I'm calling it a night.
2100 Total
27th March
This week has been pretty slow. I've been pretty busy with RL stuff so I haven't been playing much. Today I did complete that dark beasts task though, thank god. Kalphites are next, hopefully I get them done tomorrow. Currently about 60k to 91 slayer.
26th March
Well I logged on this afternoon mainly to check out the new update, which I think is pretty neat, although I ended up going back to finish off my dark beasts task. After finishing a task that I don't really like now because I can't do them without banking, of course, Duradel gives me 180 more dark beasts. After realising that if I die down there with mourner gear, there's no way I would be retrieve another set again and get back to them in 5 minutes, so I decided to get some magic boxes and catch some imps to bank the mourners gear and free up some space while I'm there. Then I also figured, it might be good to have a second mourner's set, so I got that too. Finally I got back to slaying, which brought me to 96 defence. Had to bank with about 40 left to kill, logged off there.
23rd - 25th March
Today I have just been playing soul wars, nothing too interesting - still haven't completed that dark beasts task.
22nd March
This morning I went back to that unfinished dark beast task of mine with prayer gear (different gear to yesterday, as 90% of the time I was healing with guthans, which is pretty inefficient training). I ran out of prayer potions with about 30 kills left, so I just figured, bugger it I'm not going back again I'll just unlock 500 songs so I can finally do air guitar. Did Grim Tales and Dream Mentor before getting distracted - I just had to try out Vengeance and Barrage using the Spellbook Swap spell, I was undefeated at the duel arena, but unfortunately I couldn't say the same for Stealing Creation - I've come to the conclusion that it's only good for 1v1. So with my dreams shattered I went back to unlocking music. I grabbed my sgs, unholy symbol and mithril grapple so I could unlock the Armadyl section of GWD, but of course forgot the crossbow so wasted a bit of time banking. With 7 songs left to 500, the new quest was a perfect way to finish off, so I did it and ta-da, I can do air guitar now. Now back to catch up on some uni work.
500 Songs
21st March
So after a bunch of people asked me to make a blog, I have finally decided to spice up my thread a bit and make one: So here we go:
Logged on today and began slaying. I got 160 something bloodvelds which got me to 88 range. I do the ones in the slayer tower because I can use the wall there as a safe spot, which I don't think there is one in GWD, although I'm not sure about that. Towards the end of my task a friend of mine who was new to members started asking me about soloing the KBD, and as he was new I was almost certain he was going to die there so I told him I would come with him and we would two man it, so after the task I met up with him at edgeville, and he showed me the gear he was planning to bring, full rune, whip antifire shield and sharks - at that point I was 100% sure he was planning a trip to his death, blinded by the chance of a visage. So anyway I geared up and showed him what I was going to bring and he took the same, but with full rune instead of initiate/proselyte. So we started walking towards the KBD lair and got separated after a revenant knight started attacking him and he ran off. I told him to meet me at the ice giants but he was taking so long and my t'bird was running out of time so I just decided to solo it myself, something which was far from my plans back when I was finishing off my bloodveld task. Only got 4 kills in, and the best items I got were two rune longswords (epic fail). After that I went back to slaying, and got a task of 180 dark beasts (w00t my 2nd dark beast task ever). On my 4th kill I got a dark bow (epic win) and also got to 14m hitpoints experience, then a few kills later I got a dragon med helm (epic lulz). Anyway that's enough rs for today -> going to play Crysis.
