Addressing some of the recent ideas:
-AotM signature banner: Its been mentionned before and under serious consideration. We'll get back to you on this one in the coming weeks.
-Splitting up Single Achievements: Whilst I can see where you are coming from with this suggestion, you have to realise that we do not want to harm the activity of a forum, neither do we want to over-crowd one. If the majority of topics are drop-topics, then removing them from single Achievements might remove its actual activity, and thus render it a bit useless. A little more research will have to be put in before we truly consider this idea, to what affect a new forum for drops would have on the forum as a whole.
-Allow IRC Advertising: Its in the works, and has been for some time. Check up on this in the coming weeks.
-More Emotes: I do not believe this is actually possible, nor is it fair to give one forum more emotes when various forums contain long posts (such as, Suggestions or Events). Also, as mentionned earlier in this topic, you should not require a large amount of emotes to decorate your topic with.
-Real Life Pictures: It'll be considered, but proof it is you would definitely have to be provided. We do not want people to go off at tangents and have their topics full of "your hot" or "your cute" comments. This isn't myspace.
-AoTM Voting: I can see your point on giving each person to reach the voting stage a fair chance - however, you must realise that unless it is clear and concise to exactly how much XP they earnt a day, or week, its very hard to decide what description should be given for each differing case. I suggest, when nominating, you should thus say EXACTLY why you are nominating someone, not generalise what you are nominating for.
-More Pictures: Again, its not under our control, like with emotes. And even if it was possible, it'd be unfair. I see no reason why you need more pictures per posts when you have the option to ask an Achievement Moderator to help you get 2+ posts in a row, if in need of more space for more images.
-Text Bug: The bug which makes posts go blank is not Achievement-specific. It can happen to anyone at anytime, we have no control over it, and whilst it has been looked into, it may be a case of waiting for it to be bug-fixed by IPB. Until then, I suggest you take regular saves of your topic to ensure you do not lose any information.
-Thread of the Week: We have "Best Topic" already in AoTM. I do not see any reason we would need another competition to do with Topics. Its a nicely set-out idea, I will grant you that, but its not something I see catching on. If you wish to explain it further, however, please do so.
-Achievement Templates: We discussed this before, but do not want to encourage it too much, because its interesting to see the diversity in topics in layout and design. It also gives depth to "Best Topic" in AotM not to give out pre-made templates. However, it will be considered. A basic tutorial may be more forum-friendly.
-"No Lifer of the Month"'s name: I do not see this as a problem, its all in jest, and I do not believe people would be truly insulted, especially since there is a description as to why you should nominate someone for this award on the AotM topic, which is certainly not degrading.
-Additional AotM section: I didn't want to add any more sections, but you have proposed an interesting idea. The "Most XP this Month in..." competition would probably be a good collaberation between Achievements and Events, and we would have to discuss it with them first. This idea will be considered, and we'll get back to you on that.
-Race Forum: There is certainly not enough races right now to warrant their own forum.
