Many of you asked for the ability to view graphs of market values and track item prices as they rise and fall. Well, this week we introduce the Grand Exchange Database Beta, which does exactly that!

Skilled merchants will find the Grand Exchange Database to be an invaluable tool, enabling you to keep an eye on prices as they rise or fall. Get in quick if you wish to buy low and sell high!

If you prefer crushing creatures to trading on the Exchange, why not use the Database to find out the market value of a weapon you want or the value of a drop you have just received?

The Grand Exchange is currently at a 'Beta' stage. This is so that we can listen to the feedback of everyone who uses it and make any necessary changes.

If you have any feedback, please visit the 'GE Database Feedback' thread in the Website Feedback RuneScape Forum.

Summary
Where to start using the Grand Exchange Database

Follow the link here to start using the Database. Alternatively, there is a link from the RuneScape front page, below 'QuestHelp'.
Requirements:

None - both members and free players can use the Grand Exchange Database.
Access to:

A visual guide to Grand Exchange market prices and fluctuations!

Nice! guess Jagex is trying to get control of everything.. Now everyone would use that instead of the zybez market price page.

It's very buggy on my computer, lots of images being repeated for incorrect items and the graphs aren't showing up at all. Suppose it is only a beta build though!

Are they trying to get rid of Help Sites? Look at what they have

1. Grand Exchange Database
2. Quest Help System

Whats Next? The interface looks ugly but it is exactly like our price guide but theirs updates. Well it's stil Beta anyway

Hehe now anyone can become a merchant just like before -_-

It's useful, I suppose if many people use it, I could forget merchanting to keep up with item value loss and just let the other merchants do it for me. (If lots of bad merchants use it then items stay at the same price).

No offense to Zybez (as I've been using their services for years now) but I'd much rather use a database built by Jagex instead of a third party.  This will probably get updated much more frequently and when checking prices for an unstable item, that frequency is important.

(unless this turns out like the old monster database from before the kb existed that was far from complete, never updated, and eventually removed)
You may have noticed the above reply was in opposition to your thread topic.  Please understand that this is a discussion forum and therefore such counterpoints are necessary to keep constructive, intelligent exchanges alive.  One-sided conversations don't accomplish anything.  Let us come to an agreement that even with our opposing views, we will not resort to flaming, personal attacks, or ranting when proven "stupid beyond a reasonable doubt."
