EDIT: sorry for the double post, i lagged and it made me post twice. if someone could delete the second post, thanks.
I've decided to make a new island since jagex hasn't made anywhere really worth going to nowadays.
the new island's name?: Graahkain
why is it called graahkain? well, the whole island (most of it) is based on a rare species of Graahks. Graahks are desert-dwelling (or jungle, whatever) creatures. however, these special graahks live in the plains and forests of this island. now that the fremmniks have discovered the island, they set up a whole new town, no, island for you to explore!
picture of the island: (sorry that it's kinda cruddy, i'm bad at hand made, well, mostly hand made creations.)

Note: please, DO NOT STEAL THIS MAP OR ANY IDEAS FROM THIS THREAD! I HAVE CREATED THE ENTIRE THING MYSELF!
anyways, this is the labeled map.
key:
1. Port Graahkain-how you get onto the island (without using the gnome glider), you get here by the newly added port in Relekka.
2. Graahkain Fishing Docks-here is where the villagers of Graahkain get their fish. here, you can net fish, harpoon fish (both shark and swordies), lobster pot, and fly fishing.
3. Forest and Plains Graahk hunting spots-one of the most important spots for Graahkain villagers. here, you can hunt forest graahks and plains graahks. they are the same as graahks on karamja. forest graahks require 53 hunter to catch and plains graahks require 65 hunter to catch. (pictures coming soon)
4. Fruit Tree Farming Spot-Graahkain peoples do farm to eat too, so there is a fruit tree patch available for you to use.
5. Graahkain Gatekeeper and "Troublesome Isles" Quest Start-The gatekeeper of Graahkain is here to either keep you out or let you in. however, you will have to solve the island's trouble (aka, beat the quest) in Troublesome Isles to have full access.
6. Graahkain Bank-Your average bank.
7. Graahkain Smithery-here, you can smelt your ores or smith your bars here. also, if you have an ore that is too high level for you to smith, the Head Smith there will smelt it for you for a small fee (no xp is gained)
8. Graahkain Trade Central (GTC)-This is where most of the action on this island is. it is pretty much a giant mall. in the middle is the General Store salesmen, then the rest of the stores are lined up against the wall. (store stocks coming soon)
9. Graahkain Church-Graahkain members do occasionally come to worship Saradomin, so there is an altar there for you to use.
10. Graahkain Odds and Ends (Pub and Resturaunt)-Here, you can buy beer, beer kegs, or giant glasses of beer. pretty much what is back at Relekka. also, there is a variety of fish and meats on the menu for you to use. also, there is a range in the back for you to use aswell.
11. Maple Trees-There are a few maple trees scattered in the village for your use.
12. Gnome glider-Because of the huge trade activity here, the gnomes have connected their airlines to here, allowing you to go here from the Grand Tree.
13. Monster Dungeon-many monsters dwell down here, including wall beasts, wild graahks (level 67), various dragons, and much more for you to train on!
14. Candle Seller-you will need a light source to go down there, and he is selling candles for a measly 100gp.
15. Slayer Master-Yup, another slayer master! This slayer master will train anyone with 120 or higher combat level. he assigns tough monsters like Chaos Elemental, Kalphite Queen, King Black Dragon, Tzhaar-Kets, Cockroach Soldiers, wild graahks, Steel dragons, and much more!
16. Player Hunt Minigame-Finally, a hunter minigame! in this minigame, 10 players will be set in a closed area, where they must use their hunter skills to devise a trap to hunt the other hunters! once a player is caught in the trap, they are escorted out and the player who hunted the player gets 1 hunter point. the remaining player at the end recieves 3 hunter points. hunter points can be exchanged for exp, new hunter clothing, etc.
17. Mining area-here, you can mine iron, coal, mithril, and adamantite.
18. agility shortcut-if you have level 74 agility, you can use this shortcut to get in without traveling all the way to the gate, but you still must complete the quest to get in.

well, there you have it. also, all in the village are Graahkain Guards (level 108 and 105, will have pictures soon). they arent aggressive, but they drop level 3 clues and are fairly weak.

i hope you enjoyed reading. thanks!

sorry, just that ive already designed the graahkain guards, and one of them looks very fremmnik-like. and it wouldnt really look right if it wasnt a fremmnik island

Well, I like the idea of a new landmass, but the Ghaark (or however its spelt) are in the jungle type region, they just like sand, so make it into an island on the side of Karamja or something so it fits.

The pathway seems way to long, and i think there are to many stores...But thats me.

Edit: Nvm i see the symbol lol

I support the idea.

I really wouldn't mind such a Fremmnik island like that one since raw resources, shops, furnaces/anvils, etc are so close together but let's face a few facts. Jagex won't have something like this at hand for us to use, why? Because it'll allow easy pickings for raw resources, smelting and smithing all in the same spot, and several hunting spots.

All these things on TOP of having a very quick and accessable bank. Jagex also wouldn't have another reason to place an island such as this one unless another Fremmnik quest is released which is very doubtful since there's 5-6 Fremmenik related quests.

Don't get me wrong cause I'd love to have an island like this where things are made simpler, but Jagex will probably not allow such a thing.

I couldn't agree more with Speedhawaii on this matter. It's unlikely there has to be another Fremnik Island, considering we already have so many boats leaving from Relekka to different places. Even though it looks like a really nice place to hang out, it looks like a place that makes collecting resources too easy. With other words: there are too much possibilities of things to do, perhaps you should nerve them down a little bit.

On the other hand, I do see potential in expanding this suggestion. To give you a few ideas: you could write out another quest that gives access to this island (I noticed you mention "the quest" a few times but I couldn't find a storyline of it).

Subsequently:

Quote

Work on this idea! You could once again expand your entire suggestion by writing how this minigame would work, with every single detail that comes to it.

Quote

Slayer Master-Yup, another slayer master! This slayer master will train anyone with 120 or higher combat level. he assigns tough monsters like Chaos Elemental, Kalphite Queen, King Black Dragon, Tzhaar-Kets, Cockroach Soldiers, wild graahks, Steel dragons, and much more!

Some of those monsters are way too hard to even think about slaying, I wouldn't see anyone going to a slayer master that gives you tasks like 55 kalphite queens. Not only, the experience will be not that magnificent, it would also offer a slow way to train your slayer (I don't think many people would want that)

To summarise: your suggestion got a lot of potential but needs to be worked on. It would help as well to make sure all your spelling is correct (capitals, punctuation) and use a decent format to make your suggestion look more organised. Good luck.
