Your picture for Al-karid, indicated by the "X" does not work.

Look at the bottom of the guide, it says how much it costs.

Would you suggest rogue's den or the cooking guild for FASTER cooking? (Cooking guild with the varrock armour 3).

By the way, very nice guide - very detailed :)
Rogue's Den. I personally never did the Cooking Guild method, but if it's a faster step, than go for the Cooking Guild.

Yes, the site that's hosting my images are down. Hopefully it'll be back up in the meantime. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Depends. It depends all on the starting level, buying cost of the fish, selling cost of the fish, and your ending level. And yes, the all-around cost is in my FAQ; which is 6.5-7mil. If you really want to find out the cost, just simply use calculations on your starting level and the cost of the fish your cook and you'll get it. :-)

It's already in the guide. By the section of the fish you're cooking, look at the little '[X]' mark and click on it. It'll show the updated price of that fish.

Starting from 68 cooking, I realized its going to cost ~4M gp to get to 99

68 to 90 cooking is about 1.7M in lobsters (at 43 gp each*, 1700k about)
90 to 94 cooking is about 17K monkfish (at 18 gp each*, 310k about)
94 to 99 cooking is about 24k shaks (FREE if you sell highest and buy lowest)*

*all prices assume that you buy fish for LOWEST and sell for HIGHEST, and then subtract the sell price from the buy price.  All prices as of 1700 EST, Jan 14, 2008.  Sharks are free because if you buy lowest (952 gp) and sell highest (955 gp), you don't spend a penny, and actually GAIN 72k.

TOTAL PRICE: Roughly 2M (of course this is after you resell all your cooked fish).

That's the problem. You can't always buy low and sell high. It's a good observation, but sometimes you may have to buy Medium or maybe even sell Medium. If I were you, I'd calculate if you bought/sold with Medium/Medium, etc. just to make sure.

Thanks for the Tip Max

If everyone is 68 cooking and wants to know what it takes to 99 (Super Fast):

68-90: 39,499 lobsters
Buy For 295 each
Sell For 226 each
TOTAL: 2.7M
TAKES: About 28 Hours (using  Max's Calculation)

90-94: 17,322 Monkfish
Buy for 412 each
Sell for 356 each
TOTAL: 1M
TAKES: About 13 hours (using Max's Calculation)

94-99: 24,238 Sharks
Buy for 1002 each
Sell for 910 each
TOTAL: 2.2M
TAKES: About 19 Hours (using Max's Calculation)
GRAND TOTAL: ~6M

7.5M for 99 Cooking..

Uh, that's a bit too high..
At the most about 4m..

If I did Monkfish to 99 I'd lose 2.8m from Level 88.
If I did Sharks from 94 to 99 I'd lose 3m.

I recall burning zero monkfish from 88 to 94
[yes, I was doing monks at the time]

either they've changed it, or it starts before 90

Nope, it's 90. It's been confirmed somewhere, but you may have forgotten or it was a glitch. I always get a lot of cook/burn replies on how it differs, but this game isn't a 100% correct. ^_^

Good guide Sir. perhaps you could include a section on Wine making. If I remember correctly making wines is the fastest, costly, but fastest cooking experience in the game. I may be wrong though.
