Hey guys, first of all I'd like to introduce myself to all of you who are members of this community, my name is Smeg and I have been playing runescape for a good 4-5 years, but less of that, more about my road to max melee.
After hours of looking through guides on Youtube and websites etc I have decided that I am going to tryto max melee out at Armoured Zombies. I will be keeping track of how much xp I earn per day (not exact but y'know')on this post.

99 Defence Achieved!

After many years of training, I finally achieved 99 defence and maxed melee. I slayed 90% of the way to maxed melee, and I got the last 450k experience for 99 defence camping at dark beasts. A big thank you to all of my friends who came to the party, and especially to W13 for the pictures. I don't know what happened, but after I got 99 defence, no fireworks went off, so I had to tell W13 on msn to get everyone to give me my congratulations spam. Ok, picture time.

Introduction
Hi and welcome to my 85 Slayer goal.
I will do this only with Ranging, since i want to stay a tank ranger. And i will be one of the few getting high level (85 at first, maybe 90+ later) with only ranging.
Why do i want this? My account started as a pking account, i got my maxed tanker stats now, but i still want summoning and prayer maxed. Since this will cost alot, i need alot of cash. Strange enough, with my stats, i even lose from noobs with like 90 strength and a bgs... So, i started slayer.
I am in the clan Hidden Talent, before i was in Phalanx, but since they had to give up, old members of PX started a new clan based on the foundations of Phalanx, called Hidden Tallent (HT). I will still be pking with them and stuff, but ill mostly concentrate on my slayer goal.
Currently my name in RS is You_Got_Pxed, but it will be changed back to Range Viktor in like 10 days.

Some rl information
My rl name is Viktor, i am 16 years old, in less then a month i will be turning 17. I live in the Netherlands, my hobby's are skateboarding in the summer, rarely i play some guitar, but can't really call it a hobby since i almost never do it. My first account was called I_L_A_Viktor, it was my main, when i had a short break on it, my friend played on it, he let another friend on it and he did the House Scamming. It became permanently banned since the retard also used up the chances to appeal. About 6 months ago i found out i could get my account back. I did, but since my current account is better and more fun, i decided to give my old main to a good RL friend. He is now called Pharaoh Roku, it was about 105 CB when i lost the account. I have been playing for about 10 years, having total breaks of combined +/- 2 years. I made this account back when i had my main, but i wanted a pure, i made Mage_Viktor, Range_Viktor and Melee_Viktor, i continued on Range_Viktor. Good choice imo. It had like 20 range back then.

My starting bank is about 10M, my picture will show a bit more, but since i lost alot in pvp that day, it changed like 5m less.

Q/A:
Q: Why not use melee?
A: Because i like ranging, i have always been convinced that melee is overpowered (Piety, turmoil, range pots do +13 lvls, Sup str does +19, DDS got 4 specials and can hit up to 40´s, ranging got a magic shortbow hitting up to 22 and cant even special twice in a row. And D claws, AGS. Only good range weapon is handcannon that explodes. Karil´s body is worse bonus except for mage def then a black d body, dharok, guthan etc are way better then rune platebody.) just some examples.

Q: Why not go on with pking and hope you will make money?
A: I simply always have bad luck with pking, like i said before, people that have put less effort in their skills own me simply because they got money. Pking has became a money thing, not a thing that you can only do good with skills you trained for. Any noob that got lucky at corp can now own people that rly trained their skills hard, without getting high lvls (90 str is NOT high).

Yea a little history of my Strength, lol.

I hit 99 Strength in 2002, idk what was the month, but that was the year :P. When Rs2 came out, I took fast 3 lvls of def and 98-99hp and I was maxed melee. Then I had nothing to do so I started to kill green Dragons with Str mode on...After killing millions of Green dragons I made 36mil str xp.

Then came slayer Skill, I started to do that, ofcourse Str mode on, made slayer to 29mil, and reached millions of Str xp.

1-99 STR (with R2h, Dragon Battle axe in classic).

13-36mil Xp (Dragon long).

36-110mil Xp (Dragon Scimitar).

110-200mil xp (Saradomin Sword).

That was fast history of my str training, it took me neally 9 years...And I don't have really any skills. I'm combat based.

Here's last xp of my STR, good bye I love this skill.

Oh forgot to mention. 15th OF RUNESCAPE TO GET 200MIL STR XP.

As some of you may know, I was once a skiller by the name of
Apple Lvl 3. I decided to get combat but stay a pure, considering
i've never once had a successful pure. I've had some spare time lately
and in a way sort of missed updating a thread weekly.

Ok, so here is what I accomplished in one day...

First, 50 Summoning...

Second, 81 Constitution...

Third, 75 Defence...

Fourth (or part of third), 103 Combat...

And finally, my most epic level of the day, 70 Slayer...

Also, I got 39 Farming from an XP lamp, but thats not important. Now for my next task...52 Summoning...I wonder what that could be for...

Anyways, I'd say it was a pretty good day for me, how about you?

Welcome to my Runescape goals and achievements thread! I have played Runescape on and off for the last five years, but tend to spend a lot of time having fun with friends rather than seriously pursuing skills. However, since I started playing again, I have obtained levels at a faster rate then ever, while playing casually. My name is Tyler, I'm 17 years old (until April 16th ) and live in Georgia of the United States of America. My hobbies include lacrosse and drums, while gaming in my free time.
