Okay, so i have an obby mauler, hes 75 str, 20 atk, 45 def, 65 hp, 31 prayer, 50 mage, 65 range, his cb lvl is 62 atm, He's in full red d'hide, combat brace, rune boots, zerk neck, zerk helm, obby maul / knives..I was wondering if i should go do desert treasure for ancients, ill have 32 atk after waterfall quest and that will put me to 66 cb, think its too much of a cb change for ancients? And my main kinda fails, hes like 96, highest skill is 84 range, and i might end up making my pure my new main for the fact that he has 11m cash from pking

Doing the 32 attack thing would work at one defense, i've done it. But not as a tank, so i'd suggest having a different account if you want to do it.

If you get attack over 20 your no longer tank, so I would just stay 20 attack and get up str mage range

The combat levels from 32 attack will not be made up for by Ancients, your spell selection will be extremely limited at that mage level (you can't go past 70..).

The only way this could possibly work is if you used corrupt zuriel's staff and miasmic spells to slow your opponents, but good luck making any money back that way .
