What is a good way to raise both skils up in f2p?

I am currently 39 smithing and 41 mining, and ive got a goal of about 60-70 for each of them.

I don't want to spend any money on supplies of course, but I don't really care if I don;t make that much money off of the skill, since I know that comes much later with mining and smithing.

For mining your best bet would be to stick with iron powermining all the way. Just be sure to have a rune pickaxe and use a world wit at least 1600+ people in it so that the ore spans re-spawn faster.

For smithing training, keep a few inventories of your iron that you have mined and buy the coal to create steel bars. As soon as you reach 48 smithing start creating steel platebodies for even faster experience. Or you can re-sell them back on the GE.

I think I may just keep all of my iron ore. I'm not looking for the fastest method, I just wants some steady experience.
