Briefing. Welcome to another of my monster hunting events. This time we'll be hunting General Graardor, the Bandos Avatar using CoinShare. I will be tanking. Be inside the CC (Cthulthu) 15 minutes in advance of the event (6.45pmGMT/1.45pmEST) at which point people will be added, failure to do so might end in you missing the first couple of kills and getting into the main CC might become hard. If the main CC is full, join the Secondary CC (Rougueleader), which will hold the event on a different world if there is a need. Feel free to join my IRC channel #Cthulthu for any information/questions before and during the event. Requirements. - 70 Strength - 40 Prayer Recommendations. - 75+ Attack - 75+ Strength - 75+ Defense - 75+ Hitpoints

Important things to Remember.

-You MUST bring a hammer to get into the Bandos Zone.
-Take a Bandos and Zammy item to avoid being attacked while getting KC in or near the Bandos zone. You may need an Armadyl item if you prefer the south KC spot which is the fastest, but that's completely optional.
-If you're not being attacked by the boss, pray range.
-If you're being attacked by the boss, pray melee and get ready to tank it.
-If you take a familiar that attacks the boss such as a terrorbird or war tortoise, the boss may switch his attacks to you. Either watch out for when he does switch or dont bring a familiar that attacks, use a Yak or a unicorn or a familiar that helps you without attacking.
-Finally, If you want to have a problem free event, make sure you add the account of the CC you're in and stay on the world in which the CC's event is being held in. This is to avoid you accidentally being removed from my friends list when i make space for new people.

Lame, this event starts at exactly the same time my clan's weekly event starts. I know how long these trips normally last though so I'll try to turn up once it's over providing I'm online at the time

Heh well, my logic is, why do something for free like host an event when i can make Jagex pay with a monster drop or two :P
I'll probably only host monster events because everyone else covers everything else.

And yeh, i'm happy with the thread layout, will probably use this layout for all my events.

I've hosted CS and LS events and i know from experience that the majority of people rather get a small split than no split at all for the time they spend. I much rather see everyone go away with something, however small it is, than have one person, the lsp leader, get it all and everyone else gets scraps or nothing :)

I'm quite new to this bandos hunting thing. I only did a duo once.
So, my question: If your stats aren;t that high (80 attack/strength for me), would it be better to attack the minions or the boss?
Yes, I know, this sounds like a really dumb question.
