[Answered] Uncensored Words

I am just wondering if you use words on the forums that may be a little risque will you recieve a warning level reduction or a ban. There are a few words of recent that I, myself have used in some of my posts that I though may have been filtered and weren't, obviously I'm not going to make a list but you can think of the words.

I always though that we had a sort of 'grandmother' policy here, saying only words that would be acceptable infront of your grandmother.

So will I be looked down on for using some words that aren't censored but may be offensive to some?

January Motm Voting Time!

RuneScape Community brings you

Member of the Month

This competition is for the community to decide who they feel has been the best overall member over the past month. The best part of this competition is the community has a chance to choose who will be Motm, as compared to the older competition, where it was solely decided by staff members. To become member of the month, you must show a sense of dedication, and post well throughout the boards. You must also be nominated by a member.

Nomination process

In order to be eligible to nominate a person, you must be a member or above. This means, that you must have at least 50 posts. This is to ensure that no one attempts to cheat and register multiple accounts as junior members just to get their names on the list.

In order to be eligible for nomination, you must be a member. This excludes junior members and senior members*. This is for the purpose of a member gaining some recognition in the community for their successes in posting.

*Note: If a senior member was a member for at least 90% of the month (Take date they were promoted, divide by number of days in the month, multiply by 100 to find percent) in which the competition is for, they may be eligible for nomination.

To nominate a person all you have to do is PM Teelex. You must label the PM as "Nomination for Motm". This will make it much easier for me to tally up nominations after I receive them all. You can nominate up to two (2) people, no more. You also may not nominate yourself**. If you do, your nomination will be void, and you will be disqualified from the competition. Also, you must not publicly display who you nominated. This is supposed to be a surprise for everyone who was nominated! Just simply PM me the name(s), and that should be all.

**Note: If you are caught asking others to vote for you, or you are bribing others to vote for you, etc., you will be disqualified from the competition. If you truly deserve the recognition from this competition, you will be nominated.

Voting Process

Following the nomination process, the staff will vote on the members nominated on who they believe is the best candidate for this award. After the voting process, the winner's name will be posted in the Runescape Community News section of the community.

Best of luck to everyone! You can start sending me your nominations at this time.
